I squeezed the warm body that was cuddled up next to me. I could feel the steady breathing and smell the faint hint of leather cologne as I slowly started to rouse awake. I shift before turning over to feel for my phone in the cushions and once I found it, I tapped the screen to see the time. Five thirty am.

"What time is it?" His gorgeous morning voice asked from behind me.

"Five thirty. Debrief isn't until after lunch." I mumbled as he pulled me closer to his chest, starting to slightly fall asleep.

I drifted back to sleep as he did the same, but it didn't last long as I got a message from my phone that woke me up.

Private number: Do not attend the debriefing. If anyone asks, you're obeying orders. Lay low until told otherwise. I'll be by your room soon.

I stared at it before replying '10/4' and tucking my phone back under the pillow. I stared up at the ceiling for what felt like forever until I heard Derrick start to wake up.

"Good morning, gorgeous." He said with a sleepy smile. I returned the smile.

"Good morning." He pulled me into his chest and pressed a kiss to the top of my head before slowly sitting up.

"I've gotta get back to my room and shower. I'll see you later, okay?" I looked up and nodded with a tight-lipped smile. I won't be seeing you later. He dressed before sliding his phone in his pocket and leaving.

I sat against my pillows pondering what's about to happen. Does Graves know I'm not going to be there? Does he know about mine and Kate's conversation? I ran my hands over my faces and through my hair before getting up and heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair.

Maybe Graves will realize this was all just a misunderstanding. I slipped on some black tights, a black sports bra, and my army sweater as the chilly temp in the base was starting to match the outside. I pushed on a black headband and slipped on some white clutch socks before climbing back into bed.

I kept glancing at my phone, watching the time and wondering if I'd get another text or not but my thoughts were interrupted by the door unlocking and opening. I jumped seeing Kate walk in and quickly close the door behind her.

"Pack a bag. We don't have much time." She said while throwing down a passport and other things on my bed. I looked at her with confusion.

"Now. Pack a bag now. We're leaving." She says while rummaging through her bag.

"What... I can't leave." What the fuck is really going on?

"It's either you leave with me, or you go to trial for the things Shepherd and Graves are planning to pin on you and then prison for the rest of your life." The look she's giving me is hard.

I silently get up and grab a bag and throw as much as my civilian clothes into it while throwing a few tactical pants and shirts as well. I grabs all of my underwear and bras and shove my tennis shoes in there, barely being able to zip up the zipper after I throw in my tooth and hairbrush.

I slip on my clogs before I see her holding her hand out. She wants my phone. I slip it in her hand before she takes it and types something into the screen before I see it malfunction then turn black. I give her a look because why did my phone have to go.

"We only have ten minutes so let's go." I follow her out of my room, heart beating in my throat as anxiety has fully consumed me and it feels like my whole body is shaking as we walk quickly towards the hangars.

She pushes open the door to hangar thirteen where a small jet is waiting for us. I follow her up the steps and sit in the nice seats. This would've been such an experience if I wasn't so scared for my life especially since what I'm doing is punishable to the highest degree.
