Vittoria entered the class with Simone and Michele, scared of tripping on air or on her two feet, while looking at their homeroom teacher, Mrs. Giraud. She greeted the teacher and went quickly to find a seat for herself.

She went to sit as near to the other two girls as possible, so she took a seat next to a boy who was seated in the last row of the middle line. He had brown curly hair and big sweet brown eyes, that were looking at her with confusion.

"Hi," she greeted the boy with a small smile, trying to seem as relaxed as possible.

He looked at her a little weirded out and responded with a little - Hi - and an uncertain smile.

"I'm Vittoria..." she said, offering him her hand "...Vittoria Anouilh,"

"I'm Laubrac..." he shook her hand, seeming to wait for a rude comment to escape her lips.

"It's nice to meet you, Laubrac," she smiled at the shy boy, without knowing how relieved the boy was when he noticed she didn't seem to know about the truth regarding his name.

"It's nice meeting you too, Vittoria," he responded with a sigh of relief after no comments from the girl his situation.

"I am Mrs. Giraud, your homeroom teacher," the teacher exclaimed in a rude and severe tone while looking at the class, before spotting something she didn't like at all.

"What's your name, miss?" Mrs. Giraud asked while looking at the blonde girl seated in the front of the class.

"Annick Sabiani," the blonde responded, confused while standing up.

"And yours, in the last row?" the teacher asked Vittoria, pointing at her.

"Vittoria Anouilh," Vittoria responded, standing up like the blonde, and also confused as much as the blonde girl.

"Where do you think you are, you two?" the middle-aged woman asked, confusing the two girls more, that now all the class had eyes on. "Do you think it's okay to sit next to a boy?" she continued, looking almost disgusted at the two.

"Get your things," the teacher said, looking at the first row.

Annick started taking her things, when she was stopped. "No. You." the teacher said, looking at the boy next to the blonde. "You too." she continued looking at Vittoria.

"Get up, go sit at the back," she pointed at the boy from the first row. "And you get here," she said, pointing at Vittoria.

"But I can't see from there," the boy tried to say in a little bit of panic.
