Normally, schools  are supposed to be all sunshine and daisies right? well that's just what parents say. even if other schools were like that, I don't think "curious minds school for troubled kids" the school that I used to go to ever heard of the concept.

I'm Arthur by the way, Arthur Williams and I wanted to shed light on an incident which happened to me at my school. it all starts at recces as me and my friend Emily dug around the sandpit since someone had peed in it. "do u think we'll find treasure?" asked Emily, still fixated on the idea of finding treasure by digging. "of course not, we'll be lucky if we even find a bottle cap" answered Arthur, boredom laced in his voice.

suddenly, their shove hit something hard and without warning a hand shot up from the dirt. a bony hand. literally. then without a second to spare the rest of the body rose from the dirt and soon they were facing a boy.

All they could do was stutter as the figure stood up promptly, dusting of himself while his ominous blues eyes stared into theirs, his eyes on par with his deathly pale blue skin, most of the bones visible due to the lack of skin in some parts of his body, his clothes dusty a raggedy yet so formal looking. "Are you gonna keep ogling at me or are u gonna introduce yourselves?" he said in a voice as if this was the most casual encounter ever.

"um.. my name is Emily. and this is Arthur" she said after stuttering uncontrollably for a while still gawking at him.

"well nice to meet u both, I'm Victor" he said smiling politely before looking around the playground as the bell rang for class. "well it was nice knowing you, bye!" Arthur said hurriedly before grabbing Emily's hand and darting towards the classroom door.

The day carried on as usual, as though nothing weird ever happened that day. Its funny how to some people  a day could be the best day of their lives while for others it could be the worst day of their lives. my thoughts were vastly interrupted by a prickling sensation of being stared at, I looked around to see who it was but everyone in our class seemed to be doing their word and minding their own business, I looked outside and saw Victor staring at me. but then when I looked again he was gone.

class ended, but i couldn't help but feel uneasy as me and Emily walked home together. suddenly scream and looked back to find her on the ground bleeding, I immediately  rushed over to her and tried to call for help but my voice broke  into a scream as I felt a searing pain in my stomach just moments before my knees gave away as I tumble to the rough ground, I heard Victor laughing in the distance, but i could here much due to the ringing in my head as my cold blood met my skin.

I tried to get up, but failed each time. 'am I going to die here like this?' i thought to myself, then I felt Emily near me sobbing and a stronger part of me forced myself to get up and get her away from here. For me. For Emily. I heaved Emily's body weight on to me as I tried to rush her to a neighbor who could help them, I could hear Victor in my brain mocking me, my vision was starting to blur as my knees were getting knobbly, but I couldn't give up, for Emily.

These were my last thought before I fell to the ground next to a neighbors door, 'I did it' I thought as I heard the door open and felt hasty footsteps around me, I heard them calling an ambulance though I passed out after that.

I  woke up to the sound of a door closing. startled, I sat up straight only to fall back on to the soft pillows due to the unbearably searing pain in my head.

"hello, Arthur. I'm the police and I just wanted to ask you some question on what happened  that day"

well to summarize he asked abt what happened, I answered in full detail, he said I was lying and there was no way he would believe a boy rose from the dead and killed Emily, did I mention Emily didn't survive due to loss of blood, well now you know. I was depressed over the news for over a year. anyway the same police officer came back each day to question me about the same thing, as if I would change ma answer. I didn't. He called me a liar.

after a few weeks of that, he established that I was mentally ill, apparently due to witnessing Emily's death I had gone insane and as a coping mechanism I imagined some dead boy killed her. I said that wasn't the truth, but who would believe some kid over a police officer backed up by my therapist. I was sent to the mental asylum where I assume I'll rot away till I either off myself or death comes tome on its own.

well that came pretty shortly, I went Insane from everyone telling me I'm a liar and a psychopath who probably killed Emily myself for some reason, maybe in a fit of rage or jealousy is what they would say behind my back and even sometimes right at me.

so obviously like any sensible person who is slowly dying from the inside, I thought to myself, if I'm dying inside why not die outside as well. 'no one would care' I Laughed to myself  as I stepped on to the rooftop slowly edging closer to the edge, I saw a faint version of victor and Emily egging me on to take the leap to end my pitiful life. So I did just that and it all went black though I did see a lot of red before that. Good bye forever I said to the world as I closed my eyes, never to open them again. An eternal slumber some would call it.
