The award show was in full swing, the atmosphere electric with the buzz of anticipation. Lights flashed from every angle, blinding the eyes of the many stars who had gathered to celebrate the year's achievements. The red carpet was a blur of flashing cameras, excited fans, and the endless hum of voices. Inside the venue, the air was thick with excitement as idols and celebrities mingled, making their way toward their designated seats. For one young K-pop idol, however, this night would turn into a chaotic whirlwind.

Hyunjin, a member of the popular boy band Stray Kids, was feeling overwhelmed. Despite months of preparation, he couldn't shake the nerves. He had just stepped off the stage after their performance, and now the group was supposed to take their seats and wait for the next award. But in the rush of people, he had lost sight of his bandmates.

His eyes scanned the room in panic. He should've stayed closer to them, but the crowd had pulled him away. 'Where are they?' he thought, his breath quickening. The last thing he wanted was to get lost in the frenzy and make a fool of himself in front of everyone.

He turned sharply, heading down a narrow hallway that led toward the bathrooms, hoping to get some air and calm his thoughts. But as soon as he stepped onto the smooth tile floor, his feet slipped from under him. His body crashed to the ground with a painful thud. His hands scrambled to catch himself, but it was too late-his ankle twisted awkwardly, sending a sharp pain through his leg.

"Ow," Hyunjin gasped, gripping his ankle as he lay on the cold floor. His heart raced faster, panic building. 'What should I do? What if no one finds me?' His thoughts were a jumbled mess as the pain in his leg spread. He could hardly stand, let alone walk.

Frantically, he crawled toward the nearest bathroom stall, trying to avoid any further strain on his injured leg. He hauled himself inside, sitting on the floor, leaning against the cold stall wall, trying to steady his breath. His phone had fallen out of his pocket during the fall, and now it was just out of reach, further amplifying his feeling of isolation.

Minutes dragged on, each one heavier than the last. He hadn't realized how badly he had injured himself until the pain grew sharper, making it harder to concentrate. His mind swirled in anxiety-he was supposed to be with his group, but now he was stuck alone, hurt, and lost. 'What if they think I just wandered off and abandoned them?'

Just as he was beginning to spiral, the sound of footsteps echoed in the hallway, and Hyunjin froze, holding his breath. The door to the bathroom creaked open, followed by a soft voice calling out, "Hello?"

It was another idol, a tall figure with dark hair, wearing a sleek black outfit with a pop of red. Joon recognized him instantly-Vernon, a member of the popular boy band Seventeen, a group that had just wrapped up their performance right before Stray Kids.

Vernon's eyes quickly scanned the room before settling on Hyunjin, sitting helplessly on the floor, his hands clutching his injured leg. "Are you okay?" he asked, stepping closer with a look of concern on his face.

Hyunjin hesitated, unsure of how to respond, still too embarrassed to admit what had happened. "I... slipped," he murmured, wincing as he tried to shift his position.

Vernon knelt down beside him, looking at his twisted ankle. "Looks like you hurt yourself pretty bad. Can you stand?" he asked, his voice gentle but insistent.

"I don't think I can," Hyunjin whispered, his voice tinged with panic. "I... I can't find my bandmates, and I don't know what to do."

Vernon's face softened with understanding. "Don't worry, we'll figure this out. I'm not leaving you like this." Without hesitation, he stood up and grabbed a nearby towel from the bathroom counter, folding it up and using it to cushion Hyunjin's head as he carefully lowered him onto it.

"I'll help you. First, let's get your leg elevated. We need to keep pressure off it," Soojin explained, his tone calm and reassuring. Hyunjin nodded, allowing the older idol to adjust him as best as he could without causing more pain.

"Thank you," Hyunjin muttered, his voice cracking a little. He had been so lost in his own panic that he hadn't even realized how badly he needed help. "I didn't think anyone would find me here."

Vernon gave him a reassuring smile. "You're lucky I was looking for the restroom. Now, we just need to get someone to help you get back to your group."

Hyunjin nodded, feeling both grateful and embarrassed. He had no idea how long they'd been in the bathroom, but it felt like hours. He had hoped for someone-anyone-to find him, and now, unexpectedly, Vernon had shown up at the right moment.

Vernon pulled out his phone and quickly sent a message, then glanced at Hyunjin. "I've let my manager know, and I'm going to find one of your members. They'll come for you soon. But for now, just try to relax."

Hyunjin closed his eyes, exhaling slowly. "I'm sorry for causing trouble."

"No need to apologize," Vernon said, sitting next to him and keeping him company. "Everyone gets lost or confused sometimes. You're not alone."

Minutes later, footsteps echoed again, and this time it was a voice Hyunjin recognized-Bangchan, his leader. "Hyunjin? Are you in here?" Chan called out, rushing into the bathroom. He froze when he saw Vernon sitting with Hyunjin on the floor. "Vernon-shi? What are you-?"

"Hyunjin's hurt," Vernon explained quickly, pointing to Hyunjin's leg. "I found him in here after he slipped. I've already messaged the staff; you guys need to get him to the medical room."

Chan nodded in gratitude, kneeling beside Hyunjin. "Thank you for helping him," he said to Vernon before turning to Joon. "You okay?"

"I think so," Hyunjin muttered, feeling both relief and embarrassment. "I'm really sorry I got separated from you all."

"Don't worry about it," Chan said, his voice soft and comforting. "We'll take care of you now."

With Vernon's help, they carefully helped Hyunjin to his feet and supported him out of the bathroom. The pain in his ankle was sharp, but knowing he was no longer alone made it easier to bear.

"Thank you," Hyunjin whispered to Vernon again. Chan and Hyunjin both bowed in gratitude as they made their way down the hall. "I don't know what I would've done without you."

Vernon smiled warmly. "It was nothing. Just look out for each other, okay?"

Hyunjin nodded, grateful for the kindness of a stranger who had turned into a friend when he needed it most. As they found his bandmates and headed toward the medical room, Hyunjin realized that sometimes, even when everything goes wrong, the right people show up at just the right time.
