"Hey, hey, hey!" Scott urged as he grabbed the giant green hand trying to put a vial in his mechanical belt. "Easy!"
"I'm being very careful." Bruce spoke and eyed him.
"No, you're being very Hulky." Scott snapped and stepped back from Banner.
"I'm being careful!" Bruce chimed. Scott took the red vial and held it up for all to see.
"These are Pym Particles, alright?" He continued hurriedly. Bruce grinned at the sudden outburst and looked at you humorously. "Ever since Hank Pym got snapped out of existence, this is it. This is what we have. We're not making any more." He rambled and looked around the room between Bruce, Nebula, Rhodey, and you.
"Scott, calm down." Rhodey held up his hands as he spoke gently.
"Sorry." Scott breathed. "We've got enough for one round trip each. That's it. No do overs. Plus, two test runs." Bruce continued smiling and turned around to not antagonize him further. Scott relaxed a bit more before suddenly dissolved out of existence and right back again.
Your jaw dropped as he stood rigidly, eyes closed in shame.
"One test run." He sighed and Rhodey shook his head. "Alright. I'm not ready for this."
"I'm game." A new voice caught everyone's attention. You glanced over at the doorway leading to the enormous hangar and spotted a tattooed man leaning against the frame. "I'll do it." He spoke confidently.
You knitted your brows together and looked to Bruce quickly, not knowing who the intruder was. Bruce nodded peacefully and motioned for the man to come in before turning to you.
"Y/n, this is Clint Barton." He motioned. "He is an original member of The Avengers and worked for Shield before Hydra took over." You nodded at the man. "Clint, this is Y/n. She is a mutated human who has been under Tony's care for a while. Skin to skin contact will cause instantaneous death. Y/n, if you will."
"Olas." You spoke simply. "Team scan, please." The little light on your bracelet lit up and activated the mask of the suit. The rest of your body was already covered as you were surrounded with team members. Clint watched curiously, staying still as the eyes of your suit scanned him subtly.
"Scan complete." The little voice chimed. "Barton, Clint. Hawkeye." The mask rippled off and you looked at Bruce, falling silent as you questioned your place once again. You felt like a robot waiting to be given the 'okay'.
Tony and Rocket were working on the large teleportation-time travel pad like the mechanical geniuses they were. Those in the room with you were designing a suit to withstand the unknown time forces to be faced. All you could do was take Tony's advice; Stay out of the way.
The two men walked out of the room, leaving silence as the rest of you waited. Within a few minutes, they had returned; Scott in his everyday clothes and Clint in the spacesuit.
"Okay Clint," Bruce spoke up as Nebula immediately got to adjusting some of the schematics. "You're going to feel a little discombobulated from the chronoshift, don't worry about it." Barton nodded in understanding and sat still.
"Wait a second, lemme ask you something." Rhodey spoke up. "If we can do this, you know, go back in time, why don't we just find baby Thanos and..." He motioned with his hands as if tying and strangling something and you found yourself nodding in agreement.
"Good idea, let's do that." You grinned sadistically.
"First of all, that's horrible." Bruce looked between you two wildly and put his hand up as if to create distance.
