Kant stops at a stand and greets the auntie running it. He has been buying lychees from this woman since he was big enough to see over the cart. He asks after her grandson, who was in a car accident last year, then buys a bag of lychees. These aren't for him, he has an idea to get Bison alone for a few minutes so that they can plan their date without Fadel's interference.
Kant takes a deep breath to give himself courage. He is determined to see Bison no matter how much the shop owner glares at him.
Once again there doesn't seem to be many customers and Kant wonders how they can keep the restaurant going at this rate. Neither Bison or Fadel seem concerned about it and so Kant just shrugs it off.
Today Kant decides to try the spaghetti carbonara. He has to admit, despite the cook constantly glaring at him, the dish itself is as delicious as the burger had been. Fadel really is a talented cook.
Bison comes to sit with Kant while he eats and this makes Fadel's features darken even further. He walks over to the table and slaps the bill down in front of Kant. "Just scan like before." Then he goes back to the kitchen and slowly sharpens a knife while staring at the two of them.
"I think the restaurant should make a loyalty card for me. I seem to be your best customer." Kant says quietly to Bison.
Bison grins and says, "You should talk to Fadel about it."
Kant shivers at the thought. "No way! I'm afraid your brother will slice me up instead of the meat."
Bison doesn't deny it, only gives a low chuckle. This sound from the cute omega gives Kant a different, more pleasant type of shiver. He finishes his meal and scans the code on the bill.
"Do you have any time to spare? My relative sent me a lot of lychees, and I might not be able to finish them all. I want to share them with you and Fadel. They are in my car, I could have brought them in, but I wanted to ask first." Kant asks Bison.
"Go out first, I need to get something then I will come out and get them." Bison tells him.
"What will you tell Fadel?" Kant asks.
Bison shrugs, "I'll tell him that I'm going to get the lychees from your car."
A few minutes later Bison comes out of the restaurant holding what looks like a small pet dish and a can of cat food. Kant raises an eyebrow at this and follows him to the alley beside the restaurant.
"Mew, mew, pss pss pss, mew mew." Bison calls kneeling and opening the can of cat food. For a minute Kant thinks he has lost his mind, but then a tiny black kitten sticks its head out from behind a crate and runs towards him. Bison pours the food in the bowl and sets it down for the cat. Kant smiles at the cute sight Bison makes as he scratches the kitten behind the ears while it eats.
"So cute, do you like cats?" Kant asks him.
"I want a pet cat, but Fadel is allergic. Besides, we move around too much." Bison explains.
"Can I touch the cat?" Kant asks.
"You can try, it will probably let you." Bison answers standing up to give him room.
Instead of petting the kitten, Kant squishes his stubborn cat's cheeks with one hand. Bison's eyes go wide at this, and Kant gives him a charming smile. "So cute," Kant says again.
Bison bites his lower lip and turns red. He even swallows nervously and Kant is almost undone by how adorable his stubborn cat is. "Can I kiss you?"
"I don't kiss just anyone." Bison says quietly.
