As Mai loaded Ayami things into the car, ready for their journey back to Tokyo. Ayami decided to find her parents to say goodbye, but when she opened the door to their office, they were not there.

"The missus and master have already left, Miss," the headmaid Miko-san informed her.

Ayami just nodded, a bit disappointed but unsurprised, and went downstairs. She saw her brothers, Riyu and Kazu, eating breakfast.

"Hello, little fellas," Ayami greeted them warmly.

The boys immediately ran towards her and hugged her tightly.

"I'll be going now," Ayami said, trying to keep her voice cheerful.

"Are you going to Tokyo?" Riyu asked, his eyes wide with curiosity.

"Of course," Ayami replied with a smile. "But when you have free time, you can come to Tokyo and visit me."

This made them smile and giggle. She kissed them both on the forehead. Then, with a final wave, she got into the car and left the house, heading towards her own world in the city.

After a few hours of driving, they finally arrived at Ayami's apartment. Exhausted, Ayami headed straight to her room for a quick nap, knowing she had to meet the cast of  Twilight Serenade later.

The blaring of her alarm woke her up. Still groggy, she stayed in bed for another five minutes before the alarm sounded again. Reluctantly, she stood up and headed to the bathroom for a long, refreshing shower. She then changed into her ballet outfit, ready for the day.

"Good afternoon, Miss. Your food is ready," Mai announced as Ayami emerged from her room.

Ayami ate a salad and drank her warm tea, feeling more energized with each bite. After finishing her meal, she headed downstairs where her driver was waiting to take her to the Eiyu Academia.

The Eiyu Academia was renowned for its rigorous training and high standards, with only a 10% acceptance rate. Aspiring dancers from all over the world dreamed of joining this prestigious institution. Founded over a five decades ago by the legendary ballerina Fujiwara Yukiko, the academy had a storied history of producing world-class dancers who graced the stages of leading ballet companies globally. With only four branches worldwide, it was a symbol of excellence in ballet.

The academy was divided into seven levels. Level 1 was for beginners, typically starting at age five, while Level 7 was for professional ballet dancers. Ayami, of course, was among the elite at Level 7.

Ayami stepped into the practice hall, known as Valse Hall. The atmosphere was vibrant with anticipation. As she entered, she noticed some of the cast members of "Twilight Serenade" scattered around the hall. They greeted each other with bows and smiles, a gesture of camaraderie and mutual respect that had become a cherished tradition.

In one corner of the hall, Smirnov was engrossed in his practice with the pianist. The two were deeply immersed in perfecting a particularly challenging note. So focused were they that Smirnov-san did not notice Ayami's arrival. The pianist, however, caught sight of her and immediately stopped playing, rising to bow in greeting.
