"So how you and Ronnie been?" Shanti asked. We're eating lunch at Best Pizza in Brooklyn.

I guess you could say we've become close over the past 6 months. We talk more. We have a lot in common.

"Not too good. It's kind of like on and off. We are always arguing about trust. When I ask him where he is he always has an attitude and lately he's been hanging out with Jasmine Villegas. Have you heard of her?" I took a bite of my pizza.

"I've seen her on Twitter and Instagram. She's pretty." She said nearly making me choke on my pizza. I coughed and then took a sip of my lemonade.

"It's like ever since Ronnie did that music video with her they've been doing everything with each other." I crossed my arms on the table.

"At least yall still together. Jason can't keep his eyes off any girl. Every girl he sees he eyes her down." I laughed and shook my head.

"I could've told you he was no good." I shook my head and looked at the ring that sat on my finger.

"You ready to go? We have to drive all the way back to Albany and then I have a class at 5:30." She looked at the time on her phone.

"Yeah. Let's go." I said scooting out of my chair.

I woke up to my alarm. I looked over at my phone and it wasn't my alarm it was my phone ringing. I groaned and put the pillow over my head. It didn't stop ringing. I extended my right arm and grabbed my phone putting it to my ear.

"Hello?" I answered the phone not knowing who it was.

"Hey we're you sleep?" The mystery voice said into the phone. I looked at the caller ID and it was Jasmine.

"Yes I was." I put the phone back to my ear.

"Oh. Well, I was calling to see if you wanted to hang out today."

"I can't today. I have to go to the studio." I told her wanting to go back to sleep.

"Okay. Well, I'll call you later. Bye." She said sounding sad.

"Bye." I hung up the phone.

Sabrina doesn't like the thought of me hanging out with Jasmine. Neither does Jess. Jasmine is just a friend. I don't know why they can't accept it that way. Sabrina is like that's what they all say.

Lately me and Sabrina haven't been doing so good. We're on and off. One minute we can be good the just like that we will be arguing over something. I don't care if we are on good terms or bad I still love her and wouldn't do anything to hurt her. I can't believe it's been 6 months already.

It was kind of weird not hearing Sabrina's voice first thing this morning. I had to call her. I dialed her number and the phone rang.

"Hello." She answered the phone.

"Hey. Why didn't you call me this morning?" I asked her.

"Because I knew you wouldn't be up until around 2 and there it's only like 11 something." She stated truly.

"You right." I laughed. "What are you going to do today?" I asked sitting up.

"Um. I don't have a class today. So probably watch some Netflix or something. What about you? Wait lemme guess. You're gonna hang with Jasmine aren't you?"

"Really Sabrina? Why you tripping?" I smacked my lips.

"I'm not tripping. You don't hear me talking about how I'm gonna go hang with a boy."
