Chpt. 2: Confessions

I woke up to my alarm going off. I fluttered my eyes and shut off the alarm on my phone. I looked at the time and it was 7:30. Today I had a training at 9.

I grabbed a pair of light jeans, a white tank top and my NEW YORK sweatshirt then walked into the bathroom. I turned the shower on. While I was waiting for it to get hot I brushed my teeth.

My classes were going by fast. I always asked for extra work or extra training hours so I could get out of college earlier. On occasions they gave me more work but my teacher told me not to over do it. So maybe once a week I asked for extra work.

Once the mirrors started fogging up I stripped out my clothes and stepped in the shower. I washed my body off with my soap. Once I felt clean I rinsed off and got out the shower. I dried off my body then put on my clothes.

I walked back into the room and put my dirty clothes in the hamper. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of socks. I slid my socks on then put my Ugg boots on. I also grabbed my beanie and scarf.

I grabbed my phone, put it in back pocket and then grabbed my key. Ashanti was still sleep so I just left. I locked the room door and started walking to the elevator. I pulled out my phone and texted Ronnie.

Me: Good Morning baby . I'm off to class. Going for extra hours today so I won't be out until around 4:30-5. I know we left off on bad terms last night but have a great day. Love you 😘💘

I sent the message and locked my phone back. The elevator doors opened and Mrs.Martha, my guidance counselor, was in the elevator.

"Good morning Mrs.Martha. How are you?" I asked walking on.

"Im good. How are you sweetheart?" She said sweetly.

"I guess you could say I'm doing okay." I smiled and crossed my arms.

"That's good. You have class this early?" She asked.

"Actually I'm going into training this month. My professor told me I might graduate early." I explained to her.

"That's good for you." She smiled and the elevator stopped at floor 3. "Well, I'll see you around Sabrina. Have a nice day."

"You too." I smiled and waved to her as she got off. What a nice lady.

Once I got to the campus, I walked to the cafeteria. I walked over to the Soup area and got me a bowl of soup. I paid for my soup then got a White Mocha extra sweet from the Starbucks they had in there.

I found an open seat by a window and it was snowing. I unlocked my phone and went to snapchat. I took a snapchat of me eating my soup. Then I double tapped the screen to change camera and video the snow. I uploaded it to my story and ate my soup.

It was mostly empty down here because not very many people had class this early in the morning. My phone buzzed twice indicating I had a text message.

JessiV- Good morning baby girl. Just texting you to let you know I'm up. I'll talk to you later. Have a good day babes. Love you 😘

I smiled at Jess's text message. I miss that girl so much. I texted her back.

Me- Good morning to you too. I have class this morning. Shit sucks but you also have a good day. Love you too ☺️

I sent the message then I was accompanied by one of my classmates. Her name is Tori. She's gay. I think she has a crush on me.

"Good morning Sabrina." She smiled.

"Morning Tori. How are you?" I smiled drinking more of my coffee.

"I'm good. Why you up so early?" She looked at me confused.
