Personality: Runa is calm and soft-spoken and has a fierce love for her people and dragons, especially her own. She adores flying with Star and can be gone for hours on end, often packing provisions for the trip and fishing on the way, bringing home her catch

Species: Glidebolt (hybrid between Shadowbolt and Glideghost)

Personality: Star Freeze is a friendly dragon and loves Runa more than any other dragon has ever loved a human. She's proved this love again and again, every time they visit other dragons but never staying with them, choosing instead to return to the village with her rider. Given their bond, she is ferociously protective of her, as she is over her, and would die for Runa

Their story:

Runa was lucky in her upbringing being the child of the Chief. She was born to a clan in Africa that openly accepted the presence of dragons on their island and befriended them long before Berk had. That being said, everyone in Africa loved dragons, but no one had their own. Dragons were such norm there that there was no need to have their own, as they lived in a complete symbiotic relationship with them, and would only fly on certain dragons if the dragons allowed it and if it was for fishing/hunting or helping others. Some even set up dragon race courses for some dragons to enjoy themselves as it was suited for both dragons that could and couldn't fly

Star Freeze is the hybrid of the two dragons her parents usually are with, and as her older brother had a Skyspike she was the one who bonded with it. Since her brother was next in line as the leader, it left the two lots of time to explore and doing so. They found the threat of dragon hunters and made it their life's quest to stop them once and for all
