Please, by the moons, LET THIS GO WELL. She looked quite impressed and curious, as she usually did when he showed her something. "How did you find this place?" She asked him, poking around the leaves as if to check there was nothing there. "I have my... skills." He said, imitating a royal.

"Ah, lucky I can translate you. So basically while I go out to find fruit and you never notice, you noticed and scrambled around like a maniac and found this spot and completely forgot about it until now." She smiled sarcastically. He rolled his eyes. Wait-

"Wait, what? You do that?!" She gave him a cheeky grin, he glared right back.

"This is going how my meetings usually go, is there any relaxation?" He nodded and swept a wing to a moss covered part of plain tree-top. "Ok, this is actually nice." She snuggled down and he felt a longing to lie down with her. Of course, she would most likely shoot him down and things would derail... so, not the best idea.

"Anyway, quiz time!" He rubbed his talons together. She- on the other hand- looked horrified.

"A quiz? Am I at Jade mountain?" She said, sighing.

"No, you're not. And it's a relaxing quiz by the way." He said scathingly. She gave him a condescending look and he ignored that. "Ok, what is that constellation?" She looked up and squinted. "I literally see the same stars everywhere."

He sighed and pointed above him. "Oh, right, I knew that," she said unconvincingly "that's Auriga. And I think my star sign is a Gemini."

"Really? I'm Aries. Compatible Ey?" She shook her head dismissively. "You do have that supposed personality though..." he mused. Her scales turned... yellow? Haven't seen that before. He shrugged it off. It's always going to be like this though...  he thought ruefully.

"Glory-" he stepped closer to her and she stopped him. He looked at her confused. Then, she looked up at the stars. "I know what you're going to do. Don't." Before he could protest she flew away leaving him alone. Alone, and speechless.
