Chapter 3 Jesse

" Did you see the way Jose was looking at you."

"Actually no I didn't and I thought you guys were like best friends I mean the way you guys looked at each other was like you didn't even know each other." I said.

"Ever since that fight we got into we just stopped talking and then he joined that gang so their wasn't really a point in talking to him."

"Yea im pretty sure that's the reason why just like the reason that you couldnt call me was because you  didn't know phones were allowed."

"Babe come on don't be that way please not today."

"Whatever I have to go I'm working in the front office." I said getting out of the car.I knew there was a reason that Adrian didn't text me because he still found some way to his parents so why not me.I was working in the front office because I thought that it was never to early for extra credit.

"Mr Gomez to the principals office, Mr Gomez to the principals office.What could he have possibly done now he just got to school.Jose was known for always getting in trouble but I thought that maybe since it was senior year he would change.I guess you could call us friends in our junior year of high school but when he joined the gang and started to get in trouble more often we just drifted apart and I guess that's what happened between him and Adrian also.When I got to the front office the assistant principal had me sort through some papers before my class started.

 I heard the sound of a bell indicating that someone came in but I didn't bother to look up until I felt as if someone was staring at me.I looked up and it was Jose I thought about going over there and saying hi but he was in some sort if transe and kept staring at me.

When he finally came back to reality I saw a hint of blush on his face.I gave him a confused look still questioning whether or not to go over there and talk to him.Right when I decided to the principal came to get him so there goes my chance to make things right. They were in there for a very short time about 5 minutes.During that time his girlfriend Victoria came in looking for him."Hi did you by any chance happen to see Jose stop by here yet."

"Um... Yes he just went in with the principal."

"OK thanks I'll just sit and wait for him then".
I don't know how she was even able to sit her skirt was so tight it was like it was painted on her.I turned my attention back to the papers I had to sort when Jose came out of the office. I wasn't trying to eaves drop or anything it wasn't my fault they were standing so close to me.
"so what did he want."

"Nothing just wanted to make sure my 'gang activity' wont affect the school."
"Speaking of the Latino blood I need to talk to you about that after school I have to go promised that I would walk Sammy to class."She left giving him a kiss on the cheek. Jose ran his hands through his hair and then looked around stopping his eyes on me.I quickly looked away but not quick enough.I glanced out of the corner of my eye to see if he was still staring but no he was doing something much worse. He started to walk over here.

I quickly sat up in the chair I was sitting in and looked at him as he  continued to walk over.

"Nosy much?"

"I wasn't being nosy and its not my fault you were practically standing 2 centimeters away from my desk."

"Ok feisty one. Speaking of feisty can you tell your little boy toy to calm down before he gets himself into some serious trouble."

"Is that supposed to be a threat?" I asked raising my eye brow.

" It can be whatever you want it to be." He said while walking away.

" Hey wait." I said catching up to him and may I say he walks like 5 mph." I've been meaning to ask you how come you never talk to me anymore. I know you and Adrian aren't friends anymore but we still could've talked."

"That's all on your boy toy he told me not to talk to anymore and I didn't want to cause any trouble so I didn't". I cant believe Adrian would actually do that just because he was over being his friend didn't mean he had to pull me with him. I walked out of the front office to the locker rooms where I knew I would find him. As I walked I noticed a certain someone decided to follow me.

"I'm  good from here thank you" I said talking to Jose.

" I know but I just want to see how this is going to go."

" Well in that case you should've brought some popcorn."
