As I watched from the other side of the road, I saw her exiting the grocery store with her hands filled with paper bags. She seemed older than before, but then we are almost at the same age. But at the same time, not. What didn't age though, I saw, was her bright blue eyes. Those beautiful orbs that could make any man bow down to his knees. Not me. Not anymore at least. I don't wanna love the same way I loved her. Because of this love, I've become a different man. Very different. She made me become who I am. I cannot love anymore. My heart became as hard as stone. Though it's not entirely her fault, I still blame her. And I didn't want to remind myself why.

"Okay then let's see." I said as I looked at myself in front of my bathroom mirror. My black and white striped sweater, black jeans, my favorite red beanie, black converse, and backpack. Looks decent enough, I thought. I'm really grateful that my line of job doesn't require formal attires and all that jazz. I can't stand heels!

After a few minutes of staring at my face, I got out of my bathroom and went to my desk to collect my files. Its very important that I bring this with me so that I would know what questions I'm gonna ask. I put it inside my bag and headed for the door. I locked my door then headed for the elevator.

As I got downstairs, I waited for a cab to pull in front of me then went inside. It smelt like Shawarma inside, which reminded me that I forgot to grab a quick dinner before going out. My mind was too occupied to eat.

I can't help but to imagine what they are like, My Chemical Romance. I can't really tell if they are goofy, happy going, or kind by the photo they sent me. They were not smiling. You know, the serious face.

Thats such a good name for a band though, how do they come up with that? This was another reason for me to see them. I have questions of my own that somehow I want answers. Maybe that's one of the characteristics of an interviewer, you need answers to your questions.

"We're here." the taxi driver said that made me came back to my senses. I paid him then got out of the cab. I looked up at the venue. The outside view was not that big. I looked up then saw the big sign that says the names of the bands that will perform tonight. It's just like a typical building that looks just like the cinemas. The inside though, i saw, was big. Much more bigger than the outside. I wouldn't be surprised if thousands of people will go and watch tonights show. After my roaming around, I went my way to the backstage.

There I saw was a very bulky bouncer with bald hair and his expression that says 'stay away' written all over his face. Oh boy, I thought. I readied myself then walked up to the big guy while smiling. As he saw me coming towards him, he immediately placed his body in front of the black metal door.

"That's far as you go, ma'am. No unauthorized person allowed inside." he said still wearing that frown on his face. I brought out my ID and showed it to him close enough that he could see clearly.

"Unfortunately for you, I am an authorized person. I'm from Global News and I'm here to interview the band My Chemical Romance." so get the fuck out of my way.

He stared at my ID for a second then turned around to open the door and revealed another bouncer but this one has a beard. "Lead Miss Interviewer into the MCR room." said the bald guy to the one with the beard.

"Miss Smith. And thanks." I said then went inside. The beard guy turned around and walked towards the long hallway.

"Follow me." He called out to me but I'm already following.

The walk was silent but I didn't mind. I get to look at the hallway though. Each side of the way has doors 10 meters apart from each other. And on those doors are names written on bond papers. Some names I recognize, some don't. Probably newbies, I thought.

After the long walk and silence, we finally stopped in front of a door which says 'My Chemical Romance'.

"Wait here." he ordered then went inside the room after knocking. It took him about a few seconds before he came out again.

"You have 30 minutes." then he left. I shrugged then opened the door to get inside.

The first thing that greeted me was darkness. The only beam of light I could see was from the lamp on top of a table that was on the center of the room. I searched for my flip phone inside my backpack and used it as a flashlight.

"Hello?" I called but no one answered.

I pointed my phone in front of me since I couldn't see that much in the dark even with the lamp on. I walked towards the lamp and saw books scattered on the table. They are horror books. I should know because I recognize the titles for I too am a fan of creepy stuffs. But there's one book that looks different. It's all black. About two or three inches thick. I picked it up and started to open it when the lights went on.
