It was a warm winter day in Honolulu Hawaii. The sun was out and wind was cool. The island was a peaceful as ever, and the navy girl was in the hospital about to have her baby girls. She had been waiting for months to have them and to hold them close. She knew that Steve would love them just as much or more than her.
Steves two daughters would be their to meet their new half sisters. They had someone they could take care of and teach and protect. They would be the best big sisters
Steve McGarrett was there at the Hospital as he would become the birth father of the two girls. He was in the hospital room with Josie when the two girls were born. Josie let Steve name one while she named the other. Their names would be Sarah and Skylar McGarrett.
Josie would be happy to finally be a parent with Steve. Nothing would bring their mood down. It was January 4, 1987. Steve was in the navy and so was Josie. Josie didn't really know how to raise kids and be in the military. It was very new territory for her, but she seemed exited about it.
John McGarrett was there at the hospital to visit his grandbabies and would offer his support and help in any way the new parents would need. John knew that being a parent in the military raising two kids was hard, he would try to make Steves life a little easier by offering to help raise the girls while the two worked. Josie was going to spend the next few weeks in the hospital recovering from giving birth.
Josie was going to take a few months off work to get everything ready for work and for John. The new family just wanted to focus on the present and their new family and obligations.
The hospital was in Honolulu City. The room was cold and smelled like chemicals and cleaners. There was a single window to the right of the hospital room with a bench right under it. There was a bathroom close by for anyone to use it and medical devises all around them. Doctors and nurses kept coming and going. There seemed to be a lot going on outside the room they were in, but at the same time it felt peaceful.
Steve planed on staying with Josie as much as possible before having to go back to work. The two knew that the older girls would be around a lot, even though they had school and lessens and other stuff to do. He wanted to take as much time off as possible to see his family.
Being a parent was the most important part of his life. Steve didn't know the truth about the babies, the massaque, or Klaus. He was fine not knowing that information as he didn't know it existed. He didn't know about Josies visit to Washington or that was when she got pregnant. He didn't know about the search for the babies or the reward money.
Everyone seemed to have high hopes and expectations for the two girls as they had two older half sisters. What people didn't know was how much they would achieve and how hard they would work to get what they want, an attribute passed down by their real father. They would grow up and become big names in more ways than one in more worlds than just the human one. They would learn about their past and their family and the real reason their mom had to give them up.
