Mystic Falls

It had been a several years since the two McGareett Mikaelsons twins were born in Hawaii. It was now the year 2009 and the girls have grown up a lot since then. They were in Mystic Falls visiting a close friend of theirs from childhood. Their friend was there in Mystic Falls because she became a teacher at the local high school.

What the girls didn't know was that the town was full of supernatural beings. Some of the supernaturals in town knew about the reward Klaus had out since 1986. The reward was $1,000,000 for the location of his daughters. The reward said that the two girls would have a crescent moon with fangs on their right shoulder blade. They would also have a mark on their wrist from the black magic use during their conception.

It was 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon in September. Fall was in the air, cool winds blew threw the trees. The leaves started to change its colors. The girls went to the Mystic Grill to meet up with their friend. Skylar was the first one through the door followed by Sarah. The sound of chatters was loud in the busy restaurant. People were currently playing pool in the back, and the smell was potent and strong.

Sarah and Skylar walked over to a booth in a back corner by a window. Skylar was the one to text Melissa, their friend, where they were sitting. After putting the phone down, she caught the glance from a handsome guy. He had nice short black hair, he also had a tough villain vibe about him. He wore a short sleeve v-neck dark gray t-shirt with dark jeans and a black leather jacket.

Skylar watched at the handsome guy walked over to where they were sitting. He had a glass of bourbon in his hand sipping it as he got to their table. He sat down right across from Skylar, he had a grin on his face and a twinkle in his eye as if he were up to something. "Im Damon Salvatore" he said to Skylar as he looked at her. "Skylar McGarrett" she said introducing herself before introducing her twin sister Sarah.

The three of them sat there talking for what felt like almost an hour before Melissa walked up to them. Melissa looked curiously between the girls and Damon. She had the look on her face for a few seconds before shrugging it of and sitting down. Melissa sat down next to Damon after she had Damon scoot over a bit. The waiter came over and they all ordered a drink. Melissa only knew about Damon and the supernaturals because of not only her friend Ric, but because Stefan Salvatore, a vampire, and his human girlfriend were in her class.

The four of them spent the next little while getting to know Damon and catching up with each other. Skylar had noticed how Damon kept his focus mostly on her, but decided not to say anything about it as she didn't know how she felt about it. She smiled at Damon and he smiled back.

After a few hours had past, Melissa had to go as it was getting late for her. Soon it was just the three of them sitting there at the table alone. Sarah felt like the third wheel of the group as she technically was. "So, where are you two staying while you're in town?" he asked getting a response from Skylar. Damon then offered to let them stay at the Salvatore Boarding Home during their stay.

Skylar took him up on the offer and the three headed out of the Grill to go to Damons place. They would spend their nights there.
