She deserves better.

I grabbed all her bags and prizes I won for her, taking them home with me.

"How was your date with that chic?" Ran asked. "Yo who's the lucky chic now?" He saw the makeup and clothes bags along with everything else Y/n brought.

"Shit." I answered simply.

"Have yous made anything official?"

I shook my head, "She confessed to me." I said softly.

"Huh?" He shouted.

"I said. She confessed to me." I yelled back.

"Ayo Rindou gets bitches, that's a first." He joked. "What did you say?"

I didn't answer, I put the bags on the dining table.

"Don't tell me you rejected her?" He walked over.

"That's why you brought everything here?" Ran looked at me in disbelief. "You rejected her? The girl you're weirdly obesssed with. You rejected her?"

I sighed, "It's better this way, she deserves better."

"You're such a dumbass Rindou. Think about it. You and her, even if I'm not the biggest fan of her, I wouldn't stop you from being with her."

"It's not you Ran. Nothing of this has to do with you. It's my fucking life. I'm sick of always having to do what you say! I rejected her because I wanted to. I don't fucking like her." I snapped.

Ran grew quiet, he didn't know what to say and neither did I.

"You lost a really good opportunity with a pretty decent girl." Ran walked away and into his room.

"What are you doing here?" Baji asked, opening the front door that I had been pounding on for the last 2 minutes.

"Baji." I cried, he looked at me confused but comforting me, letting me inside.

"Baji I was wrong. I was wrong to tell him." Tears gushed out of my eyes.

"Whoa...What happened?" He held me, playing with my hair.

"I didn't know how much rejection actually hurt." I said.

"Can I kill him?" Baji cracked his knuckles.

I shook my head, "It isn't worth it..."

I stayed at Baji's for the night.

When I woke up, I felt my eyes puffy, I hated that feeling, it was a feeling I haven't felt in a while.

Baji was already awake and in the kitchen, he was making himself a bowl of cereal, I walked over to him and he seemed to notice as he handed me a bowl.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

I shrugged.

"It might make you feel better, then after we can go sparring together."

I nodded at the suggestion and sat in the living room, bowl still in hand, Baji followed.

I told him everything that happened, how I felt like he was playing me the whole time. Everything.

"Was I not good enough for him? Did he just want to play with me from the beginning?" I felt the tears in my eyes.

Baji moved closer, putting his bowl on the coffee table.

"Y/n, you're more than enough. You're pretty, smart, funny, kind, caring, you're always there for your friends. He clearly is a dick." Baji rested his head on mine.

His words caused my face to redden.

We sat there quietly, hugging each other.

After sitting together and calming my thoughts, we got ready to go sparring. I haven't fought in a long while so I was happy to let out my frustrations. I slipped on a pair of clothes I left at Baji's house, it was a simple but cute outfit, with my boots.

"Anything specific you'd like to do?" Baji asked, as we arrived at Mikey's place. I was quite scared of what the blonde would say, especially after knowing I'm associated with a Haitani.

"Hm, not really, closed fist might help me get over my anger quicker though," I shrugged.

Mikey sat on the floor watching us, his hair messy.

Baji smiled, "Right, remember, don't keep your thumb over your index finger or inside the fist, you'll break it otherwise."

I nodded, making a fist, waiting for Baji to let me start.

I felt like I had lost myself in that sparring session, I didn't feel like myself. Everything I once knew about the world left me. The friends I had made. The problems I faced. My mom. Rindou. Everything. It was all gone. I didn't even realise how hard I was going, but Baji didn't stop me. Nor did he try to intervene, he knew I was aching. That's what I love about him, he's always there for me.

I had stopped after growing tired, Baji's hands and arms were red.

"You did quite a number on me huh?" The black haired boy chuckled.

Mikey nodded, "She's good."

"Sorry..." I muttered, embarrassed.

After sparring with Baji, I felt much better, I went back home, I needed to catch up with homework anyways.

Arriving at my building, I saw a figure in a black hood standing there.

"Excuse me? May I help you?" I asked, trying not to show fear.

He turned around.

"Oh hey."
