Title : The Bully (1)
🌷🌷🌷
From the very first day of college, Jeonghan had hated you with a passion. It all started when you intervened during one of his bullying episodes. He had cornered a first-year student, mocking and tormenting them in front of a crowd, his smug smirk radiating entitlement. You couldn’t stand by and watch. Stepping in, you called him out in front of everyone and reported him to the college's bullying management. For a brief moment, it seemed like justice might prevail. But Jeonghan was no ordinary student—he was the son of the most powerful business tycoon in the country. Instead of facing any real consequences, he walked away unscathed, his reputation intact, and his ego even more inflated.
However, your actions didn’t go unnoticed by him. He saw your defiance as an insult, a threat to his untouchable status, and he vowed to make you regret it. Over the next two years, Jeonghan made your life unbearable. He humiliated you in class, spread cruel rumors, and isolated you from anyone who tried to befriend you. He wanted to remind you, every single day, that no matter how righteous you thought you were, people like him always won. Yet, despite everything, you never broke—and that infuriated him more than anything else.
It was just another ordinary day as you stepped through the college gates, your heart sinking with every step. You kept your head low, clutching your books tightly, bracing yourself for whatever torment Jeonghan had planned for you today. For two years, the rich, arrogant heir had made your life a living hell, turning every day into a battle to survive. He’d humiliate you in front of your classmates, spread vicious rumors, and ensure no one dared to befriend you. You were tired—exhausted, really—but what choice did you have?
Your parents, hardworking and ordinary, were already struggling to make ends meet. You couldn’t burden them with this. The tuition they scraped together for you was supposed to be your ticket to a better life, a future far away from people like Jeonghan. Telling them about the bullying would only add to their worries, and you couldn’t bear to see them blame themselves for something they couldn’t fix. So, you endured in silence, carrying the weight of it all alone, praying that someday, somehow, it would all end.
As you crossed the courtyard, Jeonghan’s voice rang out behind you, smug and mocking, sending a chill down your spine. Another day, another nightmare. But today, something inside you stirred—a flicker of defiance buried deep within the exhaustion. You didn’t know how much more you could take, but for now, you pressed on, determined to survive one more day.
As you entered the classroom, your heart sank as you saw Jeonghan lounging in his usual spot near the back, his legs casually stretched out, radiating an air of entitlement. You avoided his gaze, hoping to slip into a seat unnoticed, but his voice rang out loud and clear, cutting through the chatter in the room.
"Sit beside me," he commanded, a smug smirk playing on his lips.
The entire class turned to watch, their eyes flickering between you and him, eager to witness yet another one of his cruel games. Your face burned with humiliation, and you hesitated, gripping the strap of your bag tightly.
"Didn’t you hear me?" Jeonghan leaned back in his chair, his tone taunting. "Or are you too good to sit next to me now?"
Murmurs and giggles rippled through the room, and you felt the weight of their judgment. You knew refusing would only make things worse. Swallowing your pride, you reluctantly walked toward him, each step feeling heavier than the last.
