You've been spending extra time at the library lately trying to become smarter ever since you realized how inferior you are compared to Donnie. You were carrying more books than you've ever opened in a lifetime.
"Angel?" You heard Donnie call from behind you.
"Yes Donnie-bear?"
"Do you need help?" He offered.
"No thanks, I'm- good." You said as you were balancing the books.
You managed to find an empty table for all of your books and you went back to the shelves for more.
"My love, what are you doing?"
"Just....homework.." You lie, hoping he doesn't see through it as you climbed a ladder to get to an encyclopedia.
He does.
"Honey... What's wrong? You've barely left this library since last week, this has gone to far." He said looking for an explanation.
You were about to give him one when you dropped all your books and you fell off the ladder and on top of Donnie.
"Oh my god Don I'm sorry." You said as you looked at him. He was blushing and you got up quickly.
"I-It's o-okay.... So what's wrong?"
You explained how you were feeling and he pulled you into a kiss. You forgot about all the books and just focused on him.
