Chapter 5: The Disgnosis

It is the next day. You are still in a coma and have not shown any signs of improvement. You have been having on and off seizures for a while and doctors do not think you will make it. You're trying so hard to fight for your dad, Sarah, and Topper but part of you also doesn't want to fight anymore.

Your dad is in the hospital with you holding your hand. Your machines start to go crazy and you start seizing. After the seizure stops so does your heart. Ward is praying and screaming for you to fight and live. He can't imagine losing his princess. Miraculously your heart rate returns and Ward is able to go back inside the room with you. "Cmon baby I know you must be tired but please I need you to fight my princess please come back to me please fight."
"Mr Cameron can I speak to you?" The doctor comes in and says. "Based off of our observations we believe the shock to her body may have caused a permanent seizure disorder known as epilepsy which is why she is seizing so much."
Ward is just in shock and stands there for a bit until he manages to get some word out "Is there any way to treat it?"
" Luckily it can be minimized by medication in some cases people don't have seizures for years at a time. We are going to try one on her right now to see how she responds if she responds well she shouldn't have many if any seizures and she should wake up soon." The doctor says.
Through happy tears Ward says "Thank you thank you so much doctor!"
"Of course" she says as she walks away.

Meanwhile back at the house it was too hard for Sarah to sleep in your shared room without you there so she decides to go sleep on the boat. She hears some noise and it startles her awake. "Hello is anyone there?" She calls out
"Oh sorry I had no idea anyone was here I was just filling the oxygen in the tanks." Sarah looks over to see who it is and it's John B the person who works on the boat.
"But you're not scheduled to work today?" Sarah replies with
"Yes I know but I do need to pick up my paycheck so I thought might as well do this while I'm here." John B says
"Well you won't be able to get ur paycheck anytime soon most likely." Sarah says sternly
"What?! Why not?" John B says annoyed.
"Because my dad isn't going to be home for a while." She says trying to hold back tears
"What the fuck do you mean by that I need my paycheck!" John B says almost yelling. Sarah starts to breakdown and John B comes over and comforts her "Hey what's wrong?" He asks.
"It's Olivia she's in the hospital and the doctors don't think she's gonna make it that's why I'm sleeping out here I can't be in our room right now and it's also the reason my dad isn't home he's been there with her since we brought her there." She says through sobs.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry Sarah what happened?" John B asks as he hugs Sarah trying to calm her down.
"She touched a down wire on accident and electrocuted herself." She can barely get the words out she just needs her sister, her best friend, her twin, and her other half to be ok. As Sarah calms down she says "I know you're not here just to fill the tanks so if you need them just take them but please return them." John B stands up in shock and goes to grab the tanks. "Hey John B you're not so bad for a pogue." Sarah says as he walks away
"Sarah Cameron you are not that bad for a kook." John B says. Sarah lets out a little chuckle and starts to blush. John B sees this and gets out of the boat and kisses her. They share a passionate kiss before he leaves with the scuba gear.

Back at the hospital your vitals are improving and you have not had a seizure in a while. All of a sudden Ward feels you squeeze his hand. "Olivia?!" He jumps up as he feels this. Your eyes start to open and you start choking on the vent. The doctors come in and take you off the vent. "Hey dad. What happened?" You ask really confused.
"Baby you electrocuted yourself." Ward says solemnly
"I did what?! But I was so careful." You say tears starting to come from your eyes.
"Hey princess it's ok all that matters is that you are ok. The doctors needs to speak with you ok?"
"Ok dad" the doctors needs comes in.
"Hello Olivia I'm the doctor that treated you I'm glad to see you awake and alert you gave us quite a few scares there. Anyways what I came to talk to you about was something that we discovered while you were out. You have developed something called epilepsy. Epilepsy is a seizure disorder that causes electrical misfires in your brain causing you to have a seizure. We believe this was caused by the amount of electricity that went into your brain when you touched the wire. Now it can be managed with medication and taking good care of yourself so a good amount of sleep and minimize stress as much as possible also flashing lights and loud noises are a no so no parties. I'm gonna give you some time to process this news." She leaves the room you're just in shock your dad can tell you're scared so he says "Hey princess it's gonna be ok we will get through this." You just nod your head. "I'm tired I think I'm gonna get some sleep" you say.
"Ok goodnight my princess." He kisses your forehead and you drift off to sleep.

While you're asleep he calls Rose telling her that you are awake and ok and she is so happy to hear that. She tells Sarah, Wheezie, Rafe, and Topper who are even happier to hear that. Sarah immediately goes to call John B to tell him the good news "OLIVIAS AWAKE!" Sarah says as soon as John B picks up.
"That's great I'm so glad" John B says.
"Who are you talking to?" Topper comes into where Sarah is.
"Umm nobody" Sarah says clearly lying.
"My girlfriend your twin just woke up and you're calling someone who could you even be calling?" He says annoyed.
"I told you it's no one!" Sarah says getting mad. Topper snatches the phone from Sarah's hand and sees it's John B. "Really Sarah a pogue!? Your dad is not gonna be happy about this." He hangs up on John B and takes Sarah back to the main area where Rose and Wheezie are. Sarah clearly looks upset and hurt but no one says anything. Th eh just continue on with their day.
