Warning: This one might get a bit descriptive of a person being killed, so if you're sensitive to that kind of stuff, maybe skip it, you won't miss anything too important.

I sat by the border where Phoebe's property ends, humming softly as I made water circle around me. I heard a rustling in a bush nearby and looked up, letting the water quietly fall to the ground and rejoin the lake.

"Who's there?" I asked, standing up. I saw a figure freeze behind the bush, and my eyes narrowed. "Come out before I make you." Cursing under their breath, the person stepped out. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" I demanded.

"I'm not doing anything, am I not supposed to be here?" They said.

"Bullshit, there are borders. Why are you here?" I asked again.

"I was just looking for a place to stay."

"You're lying. This is your last chance to tell me the truth." The river's flow halted.

"I didn't know this was anyone's property, I'll levae now."

(Description of death incoming!)

"Wrong answer." The corner of my mouth twitched as water snaked up from the river, wrapping around their neck and starting to choke them. I lifted them off the ground, manipulating their blood and stopping its flow. My mouth grew into a small smirk as their destroyed open, splattering me with blood. I laughed softly as the blood fell to the ground, staining the grass. I drew up the red liquid to float in a ball above my hand, smiling all the while.

(Description of death over, though there is a short mention of blood and she does say that she killed someone.)

I hummed quietly as I started walking back to the house, letting the blood mingle with the river water and wash away. I was sad to see it go, blood had a strange beauty to it. I knew the body would be dealt with later, so I didn't worry about that as I stepped back through the front door, shutting it behind me with a soft click.

"Back so soon?" Lily said without lookkng up from her phone, sounding annoyed, as usual.

"There was an incident." I replied.

"On? Do tell." She sounded strangely intrigued.

"Someone snuck through the border."

"How? Isn't that supposed to be impossible?"

"I thought so, but they did it. Anyway, I killed them."

"Bloodbending?"

"Yep."

"Impressive, think you could do that to someone I know?"

"I don't think Phoebe would let me."

"She wouldn't have to know. And you have been wanting a mission, right? All you'd have to do is sneak out, kill him, and boom, mission done."

"I don't think I should, I don't want Phoebe to be mad at me if she finds out."

"Ugh, fine, whatever. You're boring." She turned back to her phone with an eye roll.
