I head towards the living room only to find all of my friends huddled together like a pack of squirrels whispering secrets about the acorn stash. They appear tense, the topic of their discussion seems to be serious, well as serious as a hungover Steph and a half awake Sid can handle.
The room goes silent as soon as I make my presence known, sitting on the sofa awkwardly, I eye them with suspicion and take a big gulp of my mystical brew. "What's up?" I greet them. They eye me skeptically, giving each other nervous glances.
"Well things got complicated last night" Sid declares testing the waters. My fingers tense around the coffee mug.
