[hello, I know, I am updating very late but please drop your vote. I motivates me a lot. <3 ]

Aarav's pov:-

I strode into the law firm, exuding confidence as I greeted my colleagues with a warm smile. I made my way to my cabin, ready to tackle the day's tasks. Thankfully, today was a relatively easy day, with only a few papers to review.

With my work completed ahead of schedule, I found myself with some unexpected free time. Rather than head home to an empty house, I decided to stay and organize my cabin. The tidy space would be a welcoming refuge for the next day's challenges.

During the cleaning I found my old stuff which lead me to the memories of how I decided to become a lawyer.

I was 15 when I finally decided to opt for law and provide justice.

Past:-

(The twins are 15 and Aaryan is 20)

It was nighttime. All three of them had retreated to their rooms, each lost in their own thoughts. Their lives had turned upside down completely over the last few years.

Aarav's pov:-

I sat in my room, gazing at the small portrait of my parents that Papa and Aaira had created together. It had been almost one  year since they were taken from us in a brutal, premeditated murder. The pain still lingered, but memories like this portrait kept them alive in my heart.

Tears made their way into my eyes, thinking about how life had turned upside down completely. Watching everyone around me suffer made my heart clench. I always try to be happy and make everyone happy so that all of us can escape reality together, but how long can I do that? Every day, after we are alone, we all get a real harsh reality check. Aaryan bhaiya has also been trying to protect us, Aaira trying to come out of her worst nightmare, and me trying to provide everyone comfort and keep us together so that we don't drift away into the reality we all are trying to deal with, each with our own problems. This all feels like a nightmare; it feels like you want to wake up from the nightmares, but at the end of the day, when you retreat to bed, you know this is real. We are helpless. This feels like black magic - the constant series of bad events badly wants me to believe it. If Mumma had been here, she would have warded off the evil eye by now but the truth remains elusive, shrouded in mystery. We are lost, struggling to make sense of the chaos that has engulfed our lives.

Aaryan bhaiya, however, stands firm, our anchor in the turbulent ocean of cruelty. His unwavering strength and resilience inspire us to hold on, to keep moving forward, even when the darkness seems overwhelming.

Author's pov:-

Aarav sat with the portrait in his hand, talking to it as if seeking solace. Suddenly, he heard screams from his sister's room. The first few seconds left him numb, despite this being a frequent occurrence. He couldn't accept his sister's state. The pain in her screams filled him with a desire for justice. He wondered how differently things would be if their Papa were here to console her.

Dropping his thoughts, Aarav rushed to her room. Aaryan was also heading there. He would know how to calm her down. Every time Aarav saw his sister in this state, his mind went numb. He couldn't process anything, his heart racing with a painful intensity, yet he felt helpless.

Watching his sister's plight filled him with an unrelenting desire for justice. If the law couldn't provide it, he was willing to take matters into his own hands. He vowed to avenge every wrongdoing: his sister's kidnapping, his parents' tragic death, the theft of his father's company, and his brother's helplessness.
