The rescue day finally dawned, and Daya's team had been working hard to find out who had taken the child. Daya was in charge of the rescue mission with determination etched on his face. In an unfortunate twist, gunshots rocked the scene. Unfortunately, as this is happening, some gunshots reached the child as well, and Daya received a bullet instead. He fell to the ground as others rushed in to neutralize the situation.Abhijeet knelt by his side, speaking tight with worry. "Daya, stay with me!" However, Daya's eyelids shut, and he lay limp as the team carried him to the hospital.The team rode away for a bitter victory in the knowledge that the child was safe while Daya's condition was critical.
