Chapter 12

Harley P.O.V

I continued to eye my target for a moment before pulling him closer to me. I hold his mouth firmly with my left hand while with my right hand I guided my spear to stab him in his kidney. His death was pretty quick as he fell on the ground, a pool of blood right under him. 

Not like I could careless anyway. That's deserved. 

Only a few more left and I'd be done here. I wonder how Rimuru is doing...I hope that it's not too much for him to handle...- Wait what am I saying ??? Rimuru will be perfectly fine ! He's strong enough ! He can handle it...he's gonna be okay !

Once all of this is over, he'll be able to resurrect his kingdom and everything will be like before...I hope at least. But that's something to worry about later !

For the moment, I needed to make sure no one was going to get out of this place alive ! If they arrive with more people it could get way more messy then it already is...and that won't be pretty to see at all. 

I moved around to another tree where two people were sitting, most likely talking to each other. Funny how they still barely notice anything, do they even care about each other at that point ? Not noticing when others goes missing, just enjoying life as if it was the last time...

Probably because it will be their last time ! They just don't know it yet...

I could always just chopped their heads off their bodies...That was a quick and painful death, I think that's what I'm gonna do honestly, I just need to be careful to put enough pressure so that it'll chopped it directly. 

I started to focus on my spear as I kept looking at them, as much as I wanted to just stab them right now I didn't wanted to make any reckless move, if I could have them both at the same time it could be a good thing, if one survive they could alert the other. And that would be a problem.

Once I had the perfect angle I quickly moved my hand so that my spear could stab both of them. 

I closed my eyes and sighed. Once I count to three it will be over for them.

I heard faint cry before nothing, I opened them and it looked like I had successed.

I smiled softly but it soon faded as I heard some footsteps approaching. I quickly flew away and hide in a tree. Even if I wasn't so far from the victims I was just hoping they wouldn't find me too quickly.

I still had a revenge to complete. And I wasn't going to back down. No, I can't. I have to do it for Rimuru, he's counting on me for help. And I'm not gonna betra him.

Once the person was in my line of sight I hold my spear firmly in my hand before jumping at him, stabbing the in the heart as much times that I needed.

Once there was no life left in their eyes I quickly got off the dead body and looked at myself.

All bloody, like when-

No ! I must not think about it ! I musn't...for Rimuru..I can do it for him...

I quickly flew back in the trees, hoping that it could give me a better sight of my enemies, and it did ! Well, sort of.

I still had quite a lot to eliminate, god when was this going to ever stop ? It's not like I'm enjoying killing them ! Well, I kinda do but I don't do that for fun ! I just want it to stop !

I took a deep breath and tried to compose myself, I don't have time to think about it ! So what if they had a family or anything like that ? That doesn't excuse the fact that they hurt and killed 'monsters' without any valid reasons !

I need to continue, it's gonna be okay. I'll be able to complete this revenge, it's gonna be okay. Harley you can do this !

You couldn't protect your own kingdom...at least protect this one !
