Part 1

Third  person pov.

Layla knew this was stupid of her to feel this way towards her soulmates. It was childish and stupid of her to feel all these emotions just because of how closer they were then she was with them. It wasn't fully true, but that's how she was feeling, and it's a valid emotion she's going through.

The jealousy and annoyance only started to become more of a bother-problem these past few weeks. She did feel these emotions when she found out about their connection when she first met her soulmates and started dating them, but it had gone away when she just enjoyed what she got.

However, through the year of being with them, the feelings would come unexpectedly crashing in on her without any warning and then just ‘go’ as fast it showed up.

The emotions are back now, and it hasn't gone away yet. Now these emotions are just being built up and ‘tried’ to be pushed away in the back of her mind, but the more it continues to happen and build up in her, the more she feels slightly pulled away from them; and with that, more emotions come suffocating in like guilt and shame.

She felt so god damn guilty and shameful for how she feels and is acting.

Then, of course, she felt so stupid for the way she felt about this all. It was her that put herself in this situation and put these feelings on herself.

She was the one who wasn't ready to take that step of the soulbond connection in the first place. She wasn't ready to have sex in general at that time. And that's ok, she was fine with that….

And they were and still are accepting of that. They are very accepting of her not being ready for that step and action. They never pushed her into going past her limit, and they never made her uncomfortable or feel bad about not being ready or even awkward about it.

Layla had times where she felt awkward or even bad when it came to intimate moments between her soulmates, but that was her, they weren't causing the awkwardness or bad feelings or thoughts to happen, it was all her and she was fine with that. She understood that. They understood when she backed off because it was getting too much and too far for her liking. They understood that, and she really appreciated that from them. They were so caring to her, and it made it even harder for her. 

So, of course, they were ok when it came down to the second soulbond connection to be waited on. They would wait for centuries if they needed to.

Soulmates have two soulbonds connections to be connected.

Two steps.

The first step would be the first connection when two or more soulmates meet each other for the first time, and they either accept and or reject each other.

When soulmates meet, the soulbonds between the soulmates fight to be connected. The souls want to be connected so badly that it tries to take charge and try for the soulmates to be connected; thus giving them a hard time to even think things through. Plus taking charge… is fucking painful.
