His Rise To Fame (a Nash Grier story)

Chapter 7

Evelyn's P.OV.

I wave to Nash and run inside. I get his present ready. I bought him new Jordan's, a Calvin Klein watch, three t-shirts, 4 shorts, three tickets to a NBA game and a gift certificate to a spa day. I have the other certificate. I bought two for the both of us. I run and scramble to get the basket. I get my penny board and ride to the park. I get there at 11:55. I run to the tree and see a picnic blanket with food spread on it and gift basket but no one there.

I walk up to the mysterious blanket. 

"Hello. Anyone here?" I say. I hear laughing but I don't know where it's coming from.

"Nash? Is that you?" I say.

"Look up Evelyn." I hear him say. I look up to find my best friend sitting in the tree with his feet dangling down off one of he branches.

"Come down Nash." I say laughing.

"Why don't you come up?" Nash suggests. I take my sheds off and climb the tree. When I get to the top I look at the view. It's breath taking.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Nash says.

"Yeah it's breathtaking." I say.

"Yeah like you." Nash says. I blush knowing he doesn't mean it. He says that stuff all the time to make me feel good about myself.

"Thank you Nash. You know how to make me feel good about myself don't you." I smile and hug him.

"I mean it though." He says.

"I know you do and I know you didn't set all this food up for nothing. Come down with me I have a surprise for you.  We climb down like monkeys. Nash gets down first. When I get down I lose my balance and fall on him. We both start laughing hysterically. We sit up and put our gifts in our laps.

"Happy three month best friend anniversary Nash." I hand him his present and he hands me mine.

"Happy anniversary Evelyn. You deserve everything in there and more." Nash tells me making me blush. We open our gifts at the same time. I can't stop smiling at what he got me. He listened to my babbling about me needing new moccasins and makeup pallets. He got me gift cards and socks. Nash really does know me. I hope he likes his gift as much as I love him.

I can't even finish my thought when I get grabbed into a tight hug by Nash.

"Eve I love this so much. I can't wait to spend the weekend with you at the spa. This is going to be amazing!" Nash says. I'm shocked.

"Out of all the stuff in there, you are most excited about the spa weekend. Wow, I have changed you into a whole different person Nash Grier." We both start laughing so much our sides hurt.

"Hey Eve can I ask you something?" Nash asks.

"You already did." I say smiling.

"I know but for real." He says.

"Yeah anything Nash. You know that whether it be good or bad I'm here for anything." I tell him. He smiles at this.

"Well there is this app called Vine. You post 6 second videos on it and he boys and I want to goof around with it to see what it is. I wanted to know if you would help out with like ideas and stuff." He says.

"Are you kidding me! I would love too!" I say.

"This is going to be the best summer ever!" We scream. I play our favorite song "I'm Legit" by Nikki Minaj.
