Chapter 33

Nash Grier's P.O.V.

DECEMBER 15

I finally get released today. I have crutches and medication for every day for a month. I'm happy to be leaving the hospital I'm just not happy with leaving Evelyn.

DECEMBER 16

I haven't slept a wink in over 48 hours. I'm non stop thinking about Evelyn. My mom told me that I can't go to the hospital until after Christmas. She says she understands how much I love her but my family needs me. I told her I understand but I can't stand not have her. Not seeing her. Not touching her. I miss her. I need her.

DECEMBER 17

Today is my 16 birthday. I roll out of bed and down to the kitchen. It's 1:30 in the afternoon. I stayed up until 3:00 in the morning thinking of Evelyn. My mom, dad, Skylynn, Hayes and Will greet me downstairs with a cake and presents. I put on a fake smile and thank them. I eat my birthday breakfast and go upstairs to take a shower.

I stay in the shower just thinking about nothing. Just a blank mind until my mom yells at me to get out since I'm wasting water. I turn it off and drag myself out of the bathroom and into my bedroom. I do my hair and put on my clothes. I go on my phone and scroll through pictures of Evelyn and I. By the time I go downstairs the guys are already here.

It's 6:30 when I go the living room. I greet all of the guys and we go up to my room. They hang out and I go to my balcony.

"I miss her too Nash." Connor says walking up next to me. We look at the sky.

"Yeah but I feel like a part of me is missing." I say holding back tears.

"It's okay Nash. You can let it out. I won't judge. I mean I went through the same thing but then I met Evelyn and she showed me a whole different way of life." Connor says.

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"I think it's time you know. Nash I'm gay." Connor says.

"You're...you're gay?" I question.

"Yeah before I met Evelyn I was ashamed to tell anyone. As of right now you, Evelyn, JC, Kian, Sam, Ricky, Trevor and my family know. Please don't tell the guys. I don't want them to know yet." Connor says.

"Yeah of course." I say and we head back inside. Connor really helped me and I enjoyed the rest of my birthday. I got a lot of amazing me gifts but the one gift I truly wanted was to see Evelyn awake. After the guys went home I crawl into my bed and fall asleep.

DECEMBER 18

I wake up, eat, shower and go to the hospital. I have been going everyday since I was discharged. I sit next to Evelyn's side all day until visiting hours are done. Every day I bring a dozen balloons and a dozen flowers. Each day the balloons are s different color and the flowers are a different type.

DECEMBER 19

I do the same routine. I wake up, shower, eat, and go to the hospital. Today some of the guys are there. Connor, Aaron, Shawn, Jack G, and Kian are there. They brought her a giant teddy bear, Get Better Soon balloons, candy, cards and roses. We all talked about what would happen if she didn't wake up. Just the thought of not having her made me cringe and want to cry.

DECEMBER 20

I wake up at noon since I didn't fall asleep until 7 in the morning. I can't get Evelyn off my mind. I know the guys are trying to distract me but it's not working. All of these scenarios run through my head of how things could've gone differently.
