Evelyn's P.O.V.

I have been in this coma for too long. I have the urge to just jump up and scream but I can't. My brain won't let me. It's like it's on leave or something. I'm stuck in this lifeless body for who knows how long. I slouch in the back corner of my mind when I hear something.

"Evelyn." Someone says.

"Hello?" I say. Who the hell is in my brain with me?

"Evelyn where are you?" The voice says.

"Over here. Who are you?" I ask when the person follows my voice. "Grammy!" I jump up and hug her.

"It's been quite a while hadn't it sweetheart. How has my granddaughter been doing anyways?" My Grammy asks.

"Well when do you want me to start?" I ask.

"First off. I don't feel like sitting in the black part of your mind. Think of a garden or something." Grammy says.

"What are you talking about Grammy?" I ask confused.

"Let me clear everything up for you. Right now you are neither awake nor dead. You in between. You are a spirit attached to your body. You have the power to leave your body but not the place your body is. You still have control of your mind so you can think of anything and you will see it. Try and see how it goes." Grammy says holding my hand.

I don't even have to concentrate before we are standing in the town cemetery in front of my Grammys grave.

"I know this place all too well." My Grammy says.

"I do too." I say starting to tear.

"Honey you know I watch over you every day. I have never spent a day not beside you. I am your guardian angel. Everyone has one. For your mother it's her father and for your father it's his sister. We watch over and protect our loved ones. But when the time comes that you must go then we will be the first ones you meet in heaven." She says hugging me.

"Really? Who was your guardian angel Gram?" I ask.

"My guardian angel was your brother." She says. I remember my brother. I was three when he died. One day he was there and the next he wasn't. I have never told anyone about my brother not Nash and not even Mahogany.

"I miss John. How is he?" I ask.

"Why don't you ask him yourself." She says.

"Really!" I say. Grammy lets go of me and fades away. I wait a few moments before I see a bright light and two figures walking towards me.

"EVE!" I hear a little boy squeal.

"JOHN-JOHN!" I yell running towards my little brother.

"Eve I missed wuo so so wuch." John-John says. I pick him up and hug him. He looks the same age he did when he passed away. 3 years old. John was 2 years younger then me.

"I missed you too John. You watched over Grammy for us." I say he nods.

"Eve. Wanna wee me the wage I would be if I was twill awive?" He asks. I nod. He gets up and a bright light shines and I see a boy. An attractive boy. He has bright blue eyes and perfect dark brown hair. He is toned and about 6' tall.

"Evelyn this is what I would look like if I was still alive." John says. I couldn't help but stare at my brother. I don't know where we got our genes from but we were really not siblings.

"Is that really you John?" I ask.

"Yeah quiz me." He says.

"Okay. When's my birthday?" I ask.

"February 21, 1997." He says in a heart beat.

"Favorite color, food, and animal. In that order." I say.

"Purple, strawberry salad with Italian dressing and pandas." He says.

"Okay name something that no one knows about me. I mean no one." I smile knowing there's only one thing and he'll never get it. Within 1 second he says his answer.

"You have a beauty mark right above your butt crack. It's right smack in the middle and you are so ashamed of it even though it's the cutest birthmark ever. Take it from me. I'm a teenage boy." He laughs. I smile and jump in his arms.

"It is you John. I missed you guys so much." We have a group hug and talk about everything. I never want to wake up. I miss my family so much.
