"Enter," Louis's commanding voice echoed, making my heart skip a beat in fear. I hesitated for a moment before stepping into the slightly opened door and entering the dimly lit room.

Louis sat behind his desk, his eyes fixed on me as if he had been waiting for my arrival. He rose from his chair, his movements deliberate and menacing, and began to walk towards me with slow, dangerous strides.

I felt a surge of fear and almost stepped back, but I stood my ground, my fists clenching and unclenching behind my back as I waited for him to reach me.

Louis stopped in front of me, his body inches from mine, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest like it was going to burst. He gazed at me with an icy stare before speaking in a low, menacing tone. "Nice of you to finally show up."

I swallowed hard, trying to find my voice. "I-I'm sorry, sir," I stuttered, trying to sound respectful despite the fear that was threatening to overwhelm me.

Louis's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "Sorry?" he repeated, his voice low and menacing. "You think a simple apology will suffice after what you did?"

I shook my head, feeling a cold sweat break out on my forehead. "N-no, sir," I stammered. "I don't know what to say. But I'm truly incredibly sorry sir".

Louis's smile was cold and calculated. "You don't need to say anything," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "Your actions will speak louder than any words. And right now, your actions are telling me that you're careless, reckless, and completely untrustworthy."

I felt a stinging sensation in my eyes as tears began to form. I knew I had to hold them back, but it was getting harder by the second.

Louis took a step closer to me, his eyes blazing with anger. "You're going to have to do a lot better than this if you want to survive in this household," he snarled. "Do you understand?"

I nodded hastily, desperate to appease him. "Y-yes, sir," I stuttered. "I understand."

Louis's expression didn't change, but I sensed a slight relaxation in his posture. "Good," he said, his voice still cold and menacing. "Because if you don't shape up, you're dead. Do I make myself clear?"

I nodded again, feeling a wave of fear wash over me. I knew I had to be careful, that one misstep could mean disaster.

Louis's eyes seemed to bore into my soul, as if searching for any sign of weakness or defiance. I stood frozen, my heart pounding in my chest, as he continued to glare at me.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Louis spoke again. "And as for your punishment...," he said, his voice dripping with malice.

I felt a surge of despair as he uttered the word punishment and I looked down ready to accept my fate.

"I'll be taking away your privileges. No more eating with the other staff, no more free time. You'll be nothing more than a servant, a mere shadow of a person." He uttered voiced laced with malice.

I felt a wave of humiliation wash over me at his words. I was nothing more than a servant, a mere object to be used and discarded at Louis's whim.

But I knew I had to keep my head down, to endure the punishment and hope that things would get better in the future. So I nodded, trying to keep my tears at bay. "Yes, sir," I whispered. "I understand."

Louis's eyes seemed to gleam with sadistic pleasure as he continued. "And to make sure you remember your place, I'll be locking you in the abandoned room on the third floor. You'll clean it from top to bottom, and you won't be let out until it's spotless."

I felt a wave of despair wash over me at his words. There is an abandoned room in this luxurious mansion?

"But, sir..." I started to protest, but Louis cut me off.

"Is that a protest I hear?," he growled. "It seems you've totally forgotten my rules and you're trying to go against me"...

I stilled at his words and mentally scolded myself for trying to protest.

I whispered an apology, to which he responded sternly, "Disobey me again, and you will suffer the consequences."

I nodded, feeling a sense of resignation wash over me. I knew I had no choice but to obey Louis's orders.

Louis nodded to one of the guards, who stepped forward to escort me to the abandoned room. I walked silently, my heart heavy with despair.

As we reached the room, the guard unlocked the door and pushed me inside. I stumbled forward, my eyes adjusting to the dim light.

The room was even worse than I had imagined. It was filthy, with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and a thick layer of dust covering every surface. I could hear the scurrying of rodents in the walls.

I felt a wave of nausea wash over me as I realized the extent of the task ahead of me. I was trapped in this filthy room, with no escape until I had cleaned it to Louis's satisfaction.

I took a deep breath, trying to steel myself for the task ahead. I knew I had to get to work, no matter how daunting the task seemed.

With a sense of resignation, I began to clean the room, starting with the cobwebs and working my way down to the dusty floor. It was backbreaking work, but I knew I had to do it if I wanted to escape this prison.

As the hours dragged on, I began to feel the weight of my exhaustion. My body ached from the physical labor, and my mind was numb from the severity of the task. I had been cleaning for what felt like an eternity, but I still had so much work to do.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the room, I realized that I wasn't even halfway done. The room was still a mess, and I was starting to feel like I was in way over my head.

But I knew I couldn't give up. I had to keep going, no matter how tired I was. So I took a deep breath and continued to clean, my movements slow and labored.

As the darkness fell, I finally finished cleaning the room. I was exhausted, hungry, and weak. My uniform was dirty and torn, and I felt like I was going to collapse at any moment.

I looked down at my uniform and saw that it was torn at the side. I remembered the stray nail that had hooked my skirt when I walked away from the bed. I had been so tired and distracted that I hadn't even noticed the tear until now.

I sighed and rubbed my tired eyes. I just wanted to go to bed and forget about the horrible day I had just had. But I knew I couldn't. I still had to find a way to get out of the room and get some food.

I looked around the room, but it was empty and bare. There was no food, no water, and no way out. I was trapped, alone and exhausted, hopeless.
