Chapter 7.

I hear my phone ringing at exactly 19:13.

I pick it up to see who called me. It was Minni, and she was calling with video call. I answered the call and all I saw was her in bed, wearing a bonnet but she didn't look that much crusty.

"Ehh my sista, you look comfortable" I say loudly for her to hear me, cause network was not doing well for me.

"Eish.... At least I'm out of my uniform unlike you man, why you still in your uniform?".

"I'm too tired to change man, you change too fast".

"But you have a bonnet on, with uniform? No Nicole that's not normal".

"Eish leave me alone".

I placed my phone down, infront of me, showing the upper side of my body.

"Don't you wanna know why bo Jaydan were being called to the office" Minni said, still laying on her bed, lazily.

"you know what? Yeah, What happened?".

She stayed quiet before I see another person join the call, I guess Minni added her. But  I didn't have her number saved and it was a bunch of numbers and I wondered who this was.

"who's this?" I said sceptical.

Before I knew it I see Jaydan in a freaking bonnet, wearing a while tank top. And with no doubt I switched off my camera.

"Relax bruh I already saw you, and Minni you look like you just went through world war one." I hear a deep voice say.

Mara Minni did me wrong.

Minni: "Bruh we want to hear why Mr no I called for you in the office"

Jaydan: "Xav bruh, this nigga was drug testing us".

"Ehh were you positive or negative?" I asked with my camera still off.

"Negative luckily but there were some niggas who were tested positive."

Minni: "You not positive? That's so surprising honestly."

"You so mean man"

Jaydan: "Oh yeah Nicole? I forgot to give you you're airpod, in class, so Ima give it to you tmr".

I let out a sigh, relieved he didn't lose it.

"Yoh thank you so much, yeah you can give it to me tmr, no pressure"

Minni: Oh yeahh Jaydan what were you and Nicole doing while being so close to each other in class? Cause you guys were in each other's space"

Jaydan: "Calm down, why you saying it like that? We were just watching dhar damn on her phone"

I suddenly hear my mom coming in the house. And she would freak if she heard a boys voice, and this boy sounds like a whole man😏.

"OK I gotta go now"

Jaydan: "wait!, my bad just wanted to tell you what are you listening to? Cause when you playing music I can also hear it from this airpod. I don't know how but I can. And you listen to depressed song ngl"

I immediately screamed on the inside.

"You can hear when I play music? OK Ima stop sorry"

Minni: "..."

Jaydan: "I'm not saying stop or anything, your songs aren't so bad, I don't actually mind listening to them, just stop with the depression songs"

He likes my songs!? Thank you jesus, I thought he only listened to rap music.

"So you saying you like my music taste?"

Jaydan: "yeah it's not bad"

Minni: "Am I third wheeling something"

"Ahh wa bona now"

Jaydan: "my sister nahh"

"But I gotta go now guys byee"

We both said our goodbyes and I hung up.
