Don't run away

Chapter 1.

**Monday morning**

Nicole's Pov.

**5:03am**

"Nicole!!" I hear a very loud voice yell, I groan and open an eye, only to see my mother waking me up for school. Eish and it was a Monday. I sigh and lazily get up and get ready for school. I was so tired I just wanted to faint right there on the floor. I take a nice warm bath, at least it woke me up a little.

I put on my *Curro* uniform, I just moved to this school this year, 8th grade. Honestly it wasn't bad, I met new friends, and got an NS distinction in term 1, that's impressive right??

I hear a loud car honk, signalling my transport was here, teacher busi. I sighed and took my bag, my phone in hand and rushed out not wanting to delay her. It was still a little dark out, but my navy blue blazer warmed me up.

I got in the Avanza quickly greeting greeting teacher busi, "Morning teacher busi", I say no meaning to it, just wanting to be respectful to my elders.
"Good morning nana", she said happily, she was like this half of the time. Honestly I wish I was also having a good morning but no jesus decided 'Thando you having a bad day today'.

Teacher busi starts the car and drives off going to fetch other kids. I say quietly in the back on my phone.

Finally it was finally time to fetch my bestie, my shortyyy, aka Pheladi.

**Backstory**

I met her in the transport when I first went to meridian, when I looked at her I thought she was in primary, a 6th grader but when she talked i find out she was also in 8th grade, at least I wasn't by my self.

**Present time**

She climbed in the transport happy, along with her little sister Thato. "Good morning teacher busi", both her and Thato said, "Morning, morning". Teacher busi answered back.

"Lwandle!!", I yell her name with a rhythm to it, "Nicole!!" she yells my name back with rhythm. It was our greeting our way of greeting each other, and we only did it with each other.
