"i already fed them" kayden let out a sigh as jiwoo gave a faint smile

"where's sis?" jiwoo tried to look around the room, his whole body hurting

"she'll.... Come after a while" he decided it was better to not tell jiwoo

"ugh.. My whole body feels so weak. I cant move my arms at all.... I thought force control woukd help but i cant even do that" his weak voice came as jiwoo just laid on the bed

"i see..this wouldn't have happened if i was a stronger" jiwoo let out a weak chuckle

They both continued talking as i stood outside with jiyoung and inhyuk, listening to their conversations

I couldn't get myself to face jiwoo myself so all i could do was just listen to jiwoo's voice from outside

Suddenly, i heard kayden's footsteps approaching, making me glance up as the door opened, "the bastard who leaked information about jiwoo.. Find them"

I glanced to my side slightly, "jiyoung, this has something to do with Mr Kang's organization, i dont have solid proof but i know you can find it", i gave her a nod with a small smile before starting to walk

"y/n, come with me" kayden took the lead infront of me as i let out a tired sigh but followed him nonetheless

After a while of walking he suddenly stopped and walked behind me, making me more confused

"hey kayden wh- hey!" i let out a squeal as he picked me up in princess style and started walking again

"what can I do, both aunt and nephew are weaklings who refuse to take rest, ill have to put you to sleep too" he casually hummed as i hit his chest lightly

"let go of me kayden i swea-" before i could complete my sentence kayden already used the same ability which he used on jiwoo and knocked me out

Currently me and kayden stood and watched the professor treat jiwoo

I dont know how long kayden knocked me out for, but it was enough for me to gain my energy

I stood even more far then kayden, tightly clasping my hands together so they dont shake

The professor glanced to his side and his eyes widened in surprise upon seeing kayden and y/n

"dont mind us, focus on jiwoo"

I let out a sigh before walking forward, trying to tie my hair up but failing because of my hands shaking

Suddenly another pair of hands gently took my hair and tied it up, it was messy but worked out

I walked to the opposite of Dr Delein, staring at him intensely for a few minutes before hovering my hands over jiwoo's body aswell

"this should be similar to your ability and help you" upon saying that, i used my ability to help jiwoo heal aswell

"h-how" the professor stuttered, confused

"its easier to copy a ability then you know, if you want you can rest for a while I'll handle this" i didnt need to raise my head to know that Delein had a shocked expression on his face right now, after all, all i could do was to stare at jiwoo's face and blame myself for not being there

I wasn't sure of how long it had been

I would let the professor rest at times since he had the biggest hand in treating jiwoo, and continue to keep jiwoo in a stable condition

It was starting to get too tiring now, but i couldn't stop, i didnt want to stop

I had to take responsibility somehow anyways

"you...is it true that you use your blood for your ability?" after god knows how many hours, this was the first time Dr delein had asked something

I nodded at him as he continued

"how? Wouldn't it like?" he couldn't find the words to explain his question but his expression was enough to know what he meant

"well not really, after a drop leaves my body, it multiplies and then takes the form of any ability i want, if i could get a drop of blood of any Awakened one, i can copy their ability almost to perfection though it can have some side effects" i explained to him as he listened excitedly

"so that's how it works.." he trailed off as i nodded at him

"hm.. I think thats enough" my eyes widened at him as i waited for him to continue

"i cant help with his core but his hands are perfectly okay now" as he said that, i let out a deep sigh and stopped my ability

I stepped few steps away before bowing "thank you doctor, even the other healers had given up" i gave him my thanks as he awkwardly shook his hand

"n-no no your help was pretty crucial too" he rubbed the back of his neck before going towards the door

He greeted and told the children outside the same thing he told me and started walking away

Pov change

"my ability wasnt enough to fix his core"
"you've done enough"

Dr delein started walking again before stopping, "you should...check on y/n, she has been using her ability non stop till now and from what i understood, shes probably not okay right now" kayden nodded ay his words before walking to where jiwoo's room was

Outside the room, just as he suspected, y/n sat on one of the benches, with her eyes clenched shut

Hearing footsteps, she opened her eyes to see who it was before sighing and closing them again

"before you tell me anything, please go visit jiwoo, ill handle myself" she told him as he nodded at her words , he knew how stubborn she could be

Of course, he knew her better than anyone, thats why he put a hand on her head, "it wasn't your fault so stop pushing yourself"

He said those words and left to go to jiwoo's room

Hearing kayden's words was the last push which she needed as tears slowly escaped her eyes
