Kartein sat depressed with his head on the wall, a loomy aura surrounding him

"h-hey are you okay?"

Kayden trembled to himself, as if understanding Kartein's pain right now, "arghh~"

"kayden.... One of the side effect is that you cant change into another cat right?" Kartein's weak voice came as kayden and y/n looked at him with pity

"i dont know what would happen later but yes for now" kayden paused for a moment staring at his paws, "i cant do it no matter how hard i try"

Hearing Kayden's word, Kartein became more depressed, "that means...this skinny body is all i get... Till i figure this problem out", his voice seemed to be getting more and more weaker

"thin and neutered body" y/n couldn't help but mumble to herself, flinching when Kartein's head snapped towards her

Suddenly his eyes widened from that of a glare to one of realisation, "oh...yea...thats right..."

"what?" y/n and kayden tilted their head together

"oh my god" y/n weak voice came as she stared at Kartein rambling on, "he has completely lost it"

E/c eyes stared at the cat menacingly laughing, her hope for a normal night going away with each second she stared at him

God help her

Y/n stayed home when Kayden and Kartein went to the hospital

She knew for a fact that he'd probably return home now, even though no one told her she had an idea

So she decided to stay home and wsit for them to come back, which gave her time to clesn the whole house properly now that it was completely free

(a single mom who works two jobs, she loves her kids and never stops-)

Several hours later, Kartein was the forst one to come back before transforming into the same malnourished and neutered cat

That shit was never not amusing to watch, it was hard to even not laugh seeing the mighty and beautiful Kartein transform into a skin-touching-bone cat

The cat Kartein loafed on the sofa next to the h/c haired women as she stared at him before letting out a loud sigh, a tic mark appearing on the formers cat head

Soon enough Kayden and Jiwoo walked upon a dozing off y/n, her head falling before she picked it up again, still asleep

While Jiwoo greeted his cats with tears in his eyes, Kayden took it upon himself to carry his dear y/n to the bedroom

The tall black haired man scooped y/n up in his arms in a princess style and started walking towards the stairs

Finally ascending the stairs and placing y/n down on the bed carefully, he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding

His movements paused as his eyes started scanning y/n's calm features, which was rare to come by

'should i...'

He frantically shook his head in horror before slapping both his cheeks, he has completely lost it

But before he could walk away, someone got ahold of his hand, making him stop in his tracks

And no it was not some ghost, it was you, aka y/n

Kayden's eyes widened as he stared at her, was she playing with him or was she actually sleeping?

A sigh escaped him as he kneeled near her side, his slender fingers gently removing the stray hairs on her face, his each action filled with more care and love as if she would break if there was even a bit of strength in them

He gently placed a kiss on her forehead before putting his on top of hers

The apology of 'im sorry' coming out of his mouth in no more than a whisper

But unfortunately y/n was too deep in her dreams to remember any of this

"where's y/n?" Inhyuk asked as he looked around for her, the teenagers and cats face slowly turning into one of pure horror

"Kartein, you were supposed to wake her up"
"dont push this on me kayden"
".... Uhm.. Ill go?"

Inhyuk stared at them before letting out a sigh

The two cats and Inhyuk waited outside as Jiwoo went in, after a few minutes passed a loud crashing sound coukd be heard

"WHAT!?"
"IM SORRY PLEASE GET READY"

Which was followed by the sound of the door slamming and loud footsteps, not long before jiwoo emerged out, panting and huffing

The other three giving him a thumbs up at his bravery

This was gonna be a long journey with a irritated y/n

After arriving y/n has immediately departs with jiwoo for two reason

One was that she still felt nauseous from the ride, second she needed to see the principal as soom as possible

If what she heard was true, then he needed to be informed as soon as possible

That was, if she wasnt late to it

"they should spar with our students"
"oh my god, the witch is already here"

Y/n's expression immediately dropped on seeing the two familiar but unfamiliar faces sitting opposite to the principal

The women with the ponytail sighed upon hearing the voice, before glancing at the one

"seems like you even have y/n here"

The one being spoken of couldn't help but roll her eyes before walking inside the room and standing infront of them

"let me guess, you're cornering this grandpa into making our students spar with yours, is that it? Ignorant bastards" y/n sneered at the ones infront of her as they immediately got up

"y/n!"
"what? Did i hurt your wittle pride?" a fake pitiful expression made its way to her face before transforming back into the sharp glare

"y/n" the old man's voice came as a hand was placed on her shoulder, this was enough of a signal for y/n to know to shut her mouth

"ill only say this once, and i hope you can get ot through your big ass forehead and thick skull of yours, the moment i see you attempting something funny, ill be the one facing you" her e/c eyes bored into black ones as she jabbed her finger at the opposing women with each words

Old habits indeed die hard, especially when meeting with someone from your past
