Kartein had started treating jiwoo, since he was completely defenseless when healing, kayden and I had decided to look out for him
Slowly hours became days as more and more people started gathering outside of jiwoo's room
It was warming to see that jiwoo had so many people who cared for him, it seemed like it was the opposite for him
Everyone with Awakened powers would get distant and lonely as they became more powerful
I, myself, had been moving place to place alone before meeting kayden who was also a loner, for a reason though
But, for jiwoo, he used to be lonely before he accepted his powers and seemed to be more and more loved as each day passed
It filled me with comfort more than envy
Some days had already passed before the door to his room finally opened, everyone looking at Kartein with a hopefull expression, myself included ofcourse

"so you're jiyoung yoo, chairwoman of shinwha" Kartein looked down at uer before looking around at the ones feeling relieved for jiwoo
"kayden, y/n. Lead the way. Its been a tough few days, i need some rest"
A genuine smile appeared on kayden's face making my eyes widen
"ill lead the way as many times as you like"
