I walk into the busy diner looking for anyone that works their, I see a tall girl with raven black hair standing behind the counter, I start weaving my way through the crowed, I make it over to her and she gives me a warm smile.

"Hi, what can I get for you today" she says kindly.

"I'm here to talk to the manager, I'm looking for a job" I explain.

"Well I'm the manager" she says "we do have a spot opened".

"Great" I say happily.

"I just have to ask you do you have any experience working in a diner" she asks.

"No but I'm a really fast learner" I say.

"Great you start monday and you work every monday, tuesday and friday night and saturday during the day" she explains.

"Good I can't wait" I say.

"And the good think is we work the same shifts" she says happily "do you go to Chicago University".

"Yeah I start tomorrow" I explain.

"Thats cool I'm an english major what about you" she asks.

"Art" I say.

"Nice, well I'll see you tomorrow, I have to get back to work" she says.

"Ok bye" I say with a wave.

I leave the diner with a large smile, The sun shines down on me as I begin to walk home, a cool breeze brushes over my skin.
I turn a corner running right into something, I'm dazed for a second trying to figure out happened, then I see what a ran into, a guy standing infont of me with coffee all over the front of, he looks up at me his deep blue eyes shoot daggers at me.

"Are you fucking kidding me, watch were your going" he growls.

"I'm so sorry" I apoligise.

"You should be" he growls.

He pushes past me and storms of down the street, I stand there watching him thinking to myself hoping that I will never have to see that asshole again.
