LEVI

I woke up at 9 am, my bonnet was lost, perhaps under my bed, that seems like a problem for future me, I started my workout routine but only got halfway before I realized that I didn't finish watching my Anne with an E rewatch .I spent the next 5 hours watching it on my laptop. I will never get tired of that show. There's just something comforting about it. As I was busy reminiscing, my phone rang with a notification. It was from Francis.

I strolled downstairs to see everyone was there, and by everyone, I mean Astor's family, too. I was in my pajamas, a short striped shorts, and a zip-up grey hoodie. My mom gave me a look, and I heard someone clear their throat.

"I'll come back right now. I just need a second." I scurry back up the stairs, almost tripping from the friction between my socks and the hardwood floor. I changed my shorts into sweatpants and went back downstairs. My dad nodded, and I sat down on one of the sofas.

" Hey," I heard from the side of me.

I was sitting next to Astor, and I hadn't even brushed my teeth. Worse day ever, honestly.I nodded, and in return, I got a confused look across his face.

"What are we here for again?" Harley asked.

I was thinking the exact same thing, little sis.My mom shot her with one of her signature dagger looks and began speaking.

"As you all know, we usually go on a trip together, both families, every year and we always switch it up and one family chooses one year and the other family chooses the next."

I began dozing off until I felt someone poke my right side. Now, it was my turn to send a dirty look in someone's direction.

She began again," This year, we decided something more fun, something we've wanted to do for a long time."

"CAMPING???"Harley shot up and began dancing

"Harley Peony Adams,sente-se agora," she said

Harley sat down with a frown.

"No, we are not going camping, we're going to Hawaii." She began clapping her hands

"For how long?" I asked

"2 weeks," she said

"DAMN," I whisper- yelled, thankfully she didn't hear, but the clown next to me sure did.

He chuckled, and I may have giggled in return. Everyone around us had a huge grin on their faces. We never got to do something expensive like that for such a long period of time. We were truly blessed. Everyone was dismissed, and the chatter began. I ran back upstairs to brush my teeth and maybe look more presentable.
