Frozen in Love

2. Welcome Back....

I was so excited to arrange everything for my siblings as per their choice of things that soon after my classes I ran to the nearest mall and made sure to buy everything that would make it up to them.
After my shopping I decided to have a cup of coffee in the cafe and while I was about to return I met my only friend Mahnoor Khan who was also their to attend a meeting.

She is a sweetheart and loves to bake. She also runs a bakery of her own called The Cake Walk bakery. She told me she was here to meet a client who has placed a huge order for her  special banana cakes.
I congratulated her and informed her about Bilal and Bahar's arrival tomorrow.I also invited her to join us in welcoming them. She agreed to come.We then had a small chat over our cups of coffee and then said our goodbyes to head home.
I returned home after sun set and ammi was there to welcome me with her nimbu pani. I don't know how but she says she knew I would so need it and she is absolutely right. I had nimbu pani and then showed ammi what all I've planned for Bilal & Bahar's welcome.
That's when dadi jaan joined and gave her inputs on how I can make their welcoming even more grand. I loved her ideas she is the coolest dadi. That's when I heard the evening prayer call. Everything else could wait so we left to complete the prayer first.
I made sure to complete the ones I missed as well. Then got on to work with the house help. Ammi and dadi stepped out as our neighbours invited them to attend a small function at their place.
I decided to shift Bahar's room downstairs where she would get to have an open corridor and garden view. I hope she loves it as she always wanted it. And Bilal has been a simple man so A simple room for him was designed with new beddings and changed curtains.

I made sure to add a study area for Bilal as he might need it. Whereas Bahar I know will enjoy spending her time in well furnished open corridor. After making sure everything was done perfectly. I decided to wait for abbu to come so that we can dine together.
He arrived early and I served him food once he freshened up. I decided to update him with the changes I've done. He was angry at first coz the room that I allotted to Bahar belonged to my late ammi  but I managed to convince him saying she would love it if her one daughter gives it to the other.
He sighed and completed his food. So did I. That's when the Royal ladies my dadi and choti ammi walked in gossiping about what had happened. They decided to make us a part of it but I and abbu gladly ignored the conversation.
I told them about my preps for tomorrow and they liked the thought that I had behind those. Ammi decided to share the menu she has planned for tomorrow.Once satisfied with it and approved by dadi and abbu we retired for the night.
The next morning felt calm but it was the calm before the rise of calamity. As soon as the morning prayers were done. The uproar to welcome the twins began. Everybody got busy in their works. They were about to come by 11 in the morning. Fahad Mamu Choti ammi's brother was going to accompany them.
By 9 am everything was done coz all were busy with work since the day break. We all rushed up to make ourselves presentable. Dadi was the first one to come down and was doing the final check.
Today I decided to take off from my uni. Mahnoor also joined us. There was still some time for them to reach. So we decided to have tea. We planned on taking brunch with the twins so no one had their breakfast. We were eagerly waiting for them.
And finally the time to scream welcome back arrived when we heard their car screech. We all rushed out. Mahnoor brought some orchids along with her to welcome the twins so we all rushed out with them.

Our wait was over when the stepped out of the car. Without any delay they ran to abbu and ammi engulfing them in a big hug. Followed by dadi and then me. They greeted Mahnoor as well and she presented them with the bouquets she brought for them. She made sure to find the Purple Orchids as Bilal loved blue and Bahar adored the pink ones. She clarified saying she didn't want to be biased.
Bilal and Bahar were surprised and their smiles certainly told us that they were happy.
Now it was my turn to surprise them....
