━━━━━ ISAAC ARCHER HAS ALWAYS KNOWN he didn't care about the gender or looks of his romantic interests, but rather the personality. His kindergarten crushes proved just that: Clare and Craig Mason, two fraternal twins. Their personalities were completely identical, whereas everything else was the exact opposite. He fell in love with both of them. Yeah, the early days of figuring out his sexual identity were insane.
His parents and older brother, Emmett, were not at all supportive of the idea of Isaac possibly dating a man. They were a very conservative family━they were immensely against same-sex couples and absolutely anything that threatens their beliefs of stereotypical family and gender dynamics. Needless to say, a lot of Isaac's relationships were kept secret from those he was forced to call family. Any chance they got, they went on a rant about how he would ruin the family. It didn't bring him down, however. He was proud of who he was, and he wouldn't let them judge him anymore.
The second he graduated from high school, he left the toxic household, enrolling into the Los Angeles Fire Department Training Academy━it has always been an interest of his.
His brother seemed to have gotten better after leaving the home as well, resulting in a better relationship between the two. Emmett was incredibly supportive of Isaac and his boyfriend, Andrew Peters, and even himself started dating Bethany Reid. The pair already had a daughter, Grace, and soon saw another beautiful girl, Elly, enter the world.
