1. They Returned Back

"Papa!"

The children got shocked.

Kartik didn't waste a minute as he entered inside and instantly pulled Aaru in a hug. "Why is she crying?" He angrily asked.

Aarohi broke down in his arms all over again while he glared at his family. "Akshu", he said softly keeping Aarohi close and pulling Akshu in a hug. "Princess", he muttered.

He left them as they cried and hugged Kairav. "You have grown so big. Kairav!" He exclaimed. Kairav started crying as he hugged his father again and Kartik just smiled.

He went forward and hugged the rest of the children as they happily cried while others got teary eyed seeing the reunion.

"Where were you Bhai!" Luv asked.

"I am sorry you all. The plane that crashed didn't have me. I tried to inform you all but when I was in the car, I got in accident because of a drunk driver and I lost my memory. But that's the talk about later. I am fine now. They figured out by signs I may have lost my memory and I got help. I am perfectly ok now", Kartik assured his children and family.

"Who you might be by the way?" He asked Abhimanyu and Neil.

Aarohi and Akshara exchanged glances and gulped.

"Kartik... Here without giving any reaction. But Abhimanyu is Akshara's husband and Neil, Aarohi's", Manish said.

"What?!" Kartik shouted.

"Sirat! Naira!" He shouted feeling angry (father's possessiveness) and both came inside.

All were even more shocked now. What was happening?

"Ok! Don't burst out. I will tell you the whole story", he said.

"When Naira fell down from the cliff, she went in a coma and when she returned back, that time we were celebrating birthday of five year old Aaru. She got traumatic shock and that got her mind to result in a child like state and someone took her away", Kartik said softly.

"As for Sirat, when she fell down from the stairs. The girls came to call you all and then she got misplaced right? She hadn't got misplaced. One of her enemies in her field whom she defeated to go in the national round was there unfortunately and she kidnapped Sirat and kept her captive for long. But Ranveer found her and when he decided to return Sirat, he found out due to those years after captivity immediately after fall, she just remembered she was a boxer and not my wife. Partial memory loss", he said.

"Even then he tried to return, but he found out I was supposedly dead! And when he tried to tell her this, she started getting shocks because she was in temple for me only and then the fall happened. So he had to refrain for her health and took her with him. But he didn't waste a chance when he saw me and Naira. I was honestly processing everything that happened with me and Naira and this thing, what happened with Sirat, was too much. But at the end, we three are fine", Kartik said.

"Anyways! If your questioning is over, can I focus on my children-- oh?" He said as he saw Naira pampering Akshu, Kairav and her other kids and Sirat kissing Aarohi all over her face and her other kids.

"Yeah. Fine. Give them to me", Kartik said annoyed seeing the kids away and the kids laughed and came close to him.

"Yeah. Moving on. Why was Aaru crying?" Kartik asked.

"Akshu. Is everything fine?" Sirat asked seeing Aarohi pleading Akshu secretly to not tell anything and Kairav looking away hesitantly.

"Mumma..." She stuttered.

"Wait!" Kairav said shocked. "Both are our mothers. How are we supposed to address them?"

"We will call Naira mumma as Maa and Sirat mumma, mumma", Akshu said wisely.

"Agreed", Aarohi nodded.

"Nice discussion", Kartik agreed. "Now will someone tell me why was my Aarohi crying?" He asked angrily.

Silence!

"Arey tell!" Kartik and Sirat said together.

"Maa!" Akshu whispered looking at Naira who immediately understood bringing this topic was not good.

"Let's avoid it for now. We have returned so many years later. Let's have food together", Naira said.

"No. I want to know what's wrong", Kartik said observing Aarohi's scared face.

He looked at Sirat who was looking at Aarohi confused.

"I will count till ten and till then I should know what actually happened. I can tell seeing your faces, that something is not right", Kartik said.

"Sir... Aarohi--" Kartik raised his hand in stop sign towards Abhimanyu.

"You don't interfere when I am talking to my children, boy", he said staring right at his kids trying to not meet his gaze.

Abhimanyu gulped and nodded.

"Ok seriously", he said crossing his arms. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"Did- Did Aarohi do something? Akshu!" Sirat said sternly looking at Akshara.

Akshara tried to open her mouth to lie but Sirat's gaze hardened.

"I am sorry Aaru. I can't lie anymore. They already know something is not right. After all, they are our parents", Akshu said.

"Aarohi", Naira said sweetly. "If you have done something wrong, don't get scared. We will help you fix it. But don't hide things. Akshu! Tell what happened", Naira said.

Aarohi took a step back.

Kartik went closer to her and held her hand like she was still a kid.

Well! Obviously she was his child.

"Yes! Tell me guys! What did Aarohi do?" Kartik asked.

What had she done?!
