NOVA"You feel so perfect," he breathed, a small whimper in his voice. "How do you feel so perfect?"
"Miro," I moaned his name and felt his lips on my back, kissing my skin. "I can't."
"Yes, hermosa," he whispered, running his tongue along my neck. "Yes, you can."
I looked at Ramiro, and found it hard to say no to him. How could I? It was just a walk back to my door and he wasn't coming inside. Again. I nearly cracked a smile, but I nodded when I started walking back to my place.
"Of course," I said despite the warning sirens blaring off in my head.
Bad idea.
Or was it?
He reminded me that I was easy, and I didn't know if I liked the way it felt or not. Ramiro followed with me, and I wasn't going to allow the pounding of my heart to shake me when I felt him next to me. His presence was suffocating. There has to be something wrong with me.
How could he have so much power? It had been two weeks. Shouldn't I have forgotten about him by now? Wasn't he supposed to forget about me?
"Thank you," I muttered, feeling Ramiro take the box from my hands and hold it in his own.
He offered a small smile, but there was a glint in his eye that didn't go unnoticed. I couldn't read it, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to.
"No problem, Nova," he said softly, and I spared him a quick glance.
He wasn't smiling anymore. He was stoic—completely unreadable. He looked down at the floor and I watched his jaw tick. No problem, Nova? I ran my tongue over my teeth and ignored it, finding the tension in my body almost too much to handle. He wasn't even doing anything.
The both us starting moving up the stairs, and my gaze dropped to his tattooed hands. Every part of him reminded me of something that happened that night. It was odd. I could feel him between my thighs, and I hated that I thought about it every time I looked at him.
He was a stranger who had seen me in every position possible.
Did that make him a stranger? No, I wanted to invite him in and have a rerun. I wasn't going to, but I could think about it.
Oh, I forgot Ethan is here.
He walked alongside me, not saying a single word. I didn't let it affect me, or show that it did. Why would I? He was only walking me to my apartment.
We eventually reached my door, and I almost let out a sigh of relief. There was a note taped on the wooden door, clearly in Ethan's capitalised handwriting and I felt my face drop.
I'll be back in thirty minutes. Key is somewhere you can't reach.
Fucker.
The note was ended with Ethan's attempt at a tongue-out face and I stared at the paper with the sharpest glare I could muster. Ethan was a pain in my neck. He probably got bored and decided to wander off to one of his friends that lived nearby.
He also thought it'd be a good idea to advertise that my key was somewhere close by.
He just...doesn't think.
"Boyfriend?" Ramiro asked, a slight frown on his forehead.
He stared at the paper, an almost...concerned look on his face. Or it was something else. I didn't look long enough to find out but I didn't miss that he played with his fingers as if he were stopping himself. From what? I couldn't say.
