The sunlight of the boiling isles, and the crisped air brushed against amity's window.

From the glowing of sunlight, that shined through her window. It managed to wake up her up, stretching. She sighed, getting out of bed, another exhausted day to come.

The cold air of her room brushed against her skin, as she shivered slightly. Deciding it was best to take a shower, to get her woken up more. And to forget all the thoughts in her head, but of course. She knew, they will soon come back when she sees Luz.

Her and Luz broke up a few months after they left middle school, but they still kept talking to each other, and kept contact. But, it was different, they don't talk and just be around each other like they used to be.

Now, they would just wave it say 'hi' to each other often, and whenever they would be around each other, alone. It was this uncomfortable feeling, and silence that lingered.

They didn't talk about their favorite things, and Azura theories they'd have. But now, they just, sit in eerily silence. But sometimes they would try to break the quiet silence. But it always felt, uncomfortable.

Amity made her way to the bathroom, yawning at her sleepiness, that ate at her to go back to bed. Her hand ached with pain, her back swore from all the hunching she did when working on homework.

Trying her best to stay awake as she finally made it to the bathroom, turning on the shower. She sat on the toilet seat, waiting for the water to turn warm.

After a few minutes, she saw steam. Stretching, she stood up removing her clothes. And getting into the shower, letting the warm water run down her body. Taking a deep breath, she started to wash her hair.

Amity turned off the shower, grabbing her towel. And wrapping it around her body, and walked out of the bathroom to her room.

When she made it, she heard her phone buzz uncontrollably. Raising an eyebrow, she closed the door behind her, and opened up her phone. Seeing all of the messages from the group chat, sighing. She clicked on it.

Amity has went online

Willow: Good morning amity!

Amity: good morning Willow!

Gus: how did you guys sleep?

Willow: good for me!

Gus: same! What about you amity?

Amity: uh, yea I slept well!

Amity: but I will talk to you guys at school!

Willow: cya amity!

Amity sat down her phone, and started to get changed. She was so tired, so she picked out something cozy and comfortable. But still stylish.

After changing, she put on her white converse and started on her makeup. To hide her eye bags, so she just used some concealer, and started to work on her eyeliner.

After she was done, she grabbed her bag. And phone, making sure she didn't forget anything. After making sure, she then left her room. Making sure she was quiet while walking down, grabbing her keys she left the house.

She walked to the garage where her white BMW was, unlocking her car. She got in, waiting for the car to get warm, as she checked the time.

'7:25..'

She thought, that gave her enough time to get herself coffee before another dreadful school day, putting her foot on the gas. She drove to the nearest café, while listening to one of her favorite songs.

Amity made it to the café, as she got out of the car. Making sure the car was locked before walking into the café, walking up to the counter. "Can I get coffee to go, please?" She spoke.

Eda smiled, "of course you can kiddo!" She exclaimed. After the whole business stealing thing, Eda finally decided to build something that she can also get money from, which was the owl house café. This was amity's favorite café, considering she knew Eda, and it was very cozy.

She knew Luz worked here on Wednesdays and Friday's, but today was Tuesday. So she wouldn't be here, which would've made their encounter very awkward.

Amity thanked Eda, as she walked over to a table. Waiting for her coffee, she started to just watch videos.

After a few minutes, Eda brung her the coffee she asked for. "Thank you owl lady." Amity smiled, before paying Eda.

"No problem kiddo, have a good day!" Eda exclaimed, as she waved at amity on her way out.

Amity got into her car, as she drove to school, getting ready for another day of dreadful work, and stress.
