Lisa's POVThe YG conference room was as usual—clinical, organized, and as serious as any important meeting. Yang was at the head of the table, his stern gaze sweeping over us as he began outlining the specifics of the U.S. trip.
“Listen up,” Yang started, his voice firm. “This is a five-day trip to New York City. You’ll be attending a couple of shows—Good Morning America, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and a photoshoot with Vogue. You’re also scheduled for one or two additional shoots with fashion outlets. These will be high-profile appearances, so I expect you to maintain your professionalism at all times. You’re all representing YG. Understand?”
The mention of Good Morning America and Jimmy Fallon immediately caught my attention, making my heart race a little. I could already imagine us on those iconic stages.
The rest of the girls were similarly buzzing, their expressions lighting up at the thought of performing and getting their faces out there. But we all knew it wasn’t just about the gigs. There was one thing we had all been quietly anticipating—our free day.
Yang continued, “I’ve scheduled one free day for you. That’s your time—do whatever you need to recharge, but do not get complacent. Remember, this is business, and you will be expected to be ready for anything.”
“Got it,” Jennie said quickly, always the first to respond.
Jisoo nodded along. “And we’re good to go with the schedule?”
“Everything’s set,” Yang confirmed, his sharp eyes lingering on us for a moment before he added, “You’ll be leaving in three days. Get your things in order. That’s all.”
There was a brief silence as we processed the details. A couple of shows, photoshoots, and a free day—this was shaping up to be quite the trip. I could already feel the energy building up in my chest.

Once the meeting ended, we all made our way to the elevator. The door slid open, and we stepped inside, heading down to the lobby.
"So, five days in NYC, huh?" Jisoo said, tapping her foot lightly on the floor. “We’re definitely going to need more than one free day after all that work.”
Rosie grinned widely. “One day of downtime? That’s perfect. We could do whatever we want!” Her voice practically sang with excitement, and I couldn’t help but smile at her enthusiasm.
“Don’t forget, we still have to make an impact on all those shows and photoshoots,” Jennie reminded us, though she seemed more amused than worried.
“I think we’ll make a bigger impact on Yn," Rosie mused, her eyes twinkling as she glanced between us.
The mention of Yn brought an excited silence over the group, but we all knew what she meant. Yn—my childhood friend—wasn’t just another person. She was the one they were all curious about, even if they hadn’t met her yet.
“True,” I agreed with a small chuckle. “I wonder how she’ll react to us showing up. I mean, none of you have really had a chance to talk to her in person, huh?”
“Don’t worry about Yn,” Jisoo said with a smile. “Just let me handle the details. We’ll be the cool ones.”
“Yeah, we’ll be the ones who get to surprise her,” Rosie added, grinning again.
Jennie raised an eyebrow. “You’re way more excited about this surprise than you’re letting on, huh?”
“Is that so?” Rosie teased back. “Maybe. I just think it’ll be a blast.”
We stepped out of the elevator and headed toward the exit. The city air was crisp, and the thought of the trip lingered in my mind.
I couldn’t stop thinking about the chance to see Yn again, and the girls finally meet the girl I had always talked about. We all knew about her relationship with Sarah, but we also knew it wasn’t perfect. Whatever happened, I hoped we could give Yn a day she wouldn’t forget.
"Alright, so we’ve got a plan," Jennie said, bringing us back to the present. "We work hard, and we make it count. But that free day? We're going to make the most of it."
Rosie nodded excitedly. “I already know what I’m going to do. Just wait.”
I gave her a teasing look. “Don’t go causing any trouble, okay?”
Rosie shot me a wink. “Who, me?”
The four of us walked out into the brisk New York afternoon, our heads filled with plans and anticipation. We weren’t just going to meet Yn—we were going to make it memorable.
