I woke up to the smell of lake water, a cold breeze sent me Into a state of Instant shivers. I bolted out of my slumber trying to collect all thoughts of where I was.
Thats right... I was sleeping in the enchanted forest with Callum. Callum, where Is Callum? I looked around me, there was no sight of him. He wasn't next to me anymore, did he leave me?
I yawned and took my time standing up, what If he left? Do I know my way back to the orphanage... I looked around once more, the sound of the wind pushed the waves of the lake.
Birds flying from above causing the leaves from the trees to shake and fall, I frowned my brows and sat down trying to think of what to do. Nothing was coming to my mind, considering I had just woken up.
My stomach began to growl, how am I hungry this early? Hmmm, I began to fold the blankets and looked around for my crossbody bag. Stuffing them inside I stretched letting my bones adjust to my sudden movements.
I stayed for a moment, I truly did love this sight. Looking around my surroundings I wanted to come back to this sight. How do I find my way back?
I had nothing to mark where I was, I turned to the tree I slept under. My eyes light up, I had an idea. I began tugging on a piece of bark from the tree, skinning the tree until I saw the light wood.
I smiled at the skinned piece of the tree and nodded to myself, still holding the bark In my hands I looked at It and saw tiny ants crawling on them, I yelped falling back as I threw the bark as far away as I could.
"What's going on with you?" A sudden voice said, my eyes winded more as I yelped again. "Jesus you scared me..." I said looking at Callum who was holding a basket.
He smiled and snickered as he sat next to me, "I got us fruits, we got lucky this time. I found cherries, blueberries, and raspberries." He spoke setting the basket down, I smiled a began to eat some fruits.
I sighed In satisfaction, this was nice. I loved mornings where you would just sit down and enjoy what was Infront of you. It reminded me much of my time I spent with my father...
Quiet, but peaceful.
He let out a humph and looked at me, I looked back and questioned his look. I had no idea what he was thinking. "Hey, I saw something cool, wanna see?" He said eating his final berry.
I had no idea what he wanted to show me, did he find the white angel?
He got up and grabbed my hand pulling me In a direction we had never taken, we passed many sights. My favorite was the where were It looked like we were on a cliff, the water was so far down.
