It's been 1 day, 29 hours, and 1,740 minutes since I've seen that man. It's a hard thing to shake off, this Is my second time meeting him.
I tossed over In the bed as I fiddled with my fingers, I tried everything to get my mind off of him. I tried reading, I talked to Janice... I literally took me a half hour to curl my whole head! Yet Im still thinking about him.
But nonetheless, today was the dinner date, I didn't want to scare off my mom's boss by staring Into space. I shot up out of bed and walked over to my vanity, dramatically looking Into the mirror.
"Whatever shall I do." I hummed as I scanned my hair making sure It was still In place, I hummed once more grabbing the hairspray I left on my desk. Giving my hair a,
Ts, Ts,
I patted down some flyaways and nodded In slight approval, I turned around and slid on my heels. Janice told me to wear something fancy, we were going to a nice restaurant that played jazz.
I loved jazz, not always my go-to, but I'll listen out of my own free will. I had on a sheer shoulder dress, It matched my skin tone but the overall color was a wine red. I was unsure why I had this dress, considering It made me look so..
I shook my thoughts out of my head, on top of the wine-red sheer was a faint layer of glitter. The strap of my heel wrapped around my ankle the tip of the kitten heels were pointed but also sheer exposing my white polished toes.
I had on light layers of silver bracelets on each arm so my arms wouldn't look so bulky while picking up a drink or holding my purse. I had on a simple silver necklace with a deep red gem hanging on the bottom of It.
I looked at my phone, It was three forty-two. We needed to be there by four-thirty, but luckily we weren't that far, so Im sure we would make It on time.
I grabbed my things and placed them inside my purse as I slowly walked down the stairs, Janice was sitting on the stool near the kitchen, she raised her head and gifted me an awed face.
"Honey you look stunning!" She said In a surprised tone, she got up from her stool grabbed her purse, and looked my way again. "Thank you, Janice, you look great as well." I smiled at her.
Of course, she went all out with the fur, she had on an off-the-shoulder black pencil dress with a loose flare at the bottom. She had a fox fur shawl wrapped around her, her hair was wrapped up Into a neat bun with a bang coming to the side.
Glamorous...
One thing about Janice, Is that she knows how to stun everyone on the radar. We grabbed our purses and keys and headed Into the car. I suppose the drive would be much longer considering she works thirty minutes away from home. But I'll just take the time to talk to her more.
