I was a little puzzled and worried about what I had to do. Usually they'll tell you how It goes down. Tell you the poses and how they want you to look.
But no, what he wanted from me. It was my raw form, my true self. And It didn't seem right to me, I felt determined to do something Instead of pondering In my own thoughts. He slid his sketchbook open to a fresh page.
It felt like an invasion of privacy to even look at it while he was working, should I get on my phone? Should I have a staring contest? Maybe that'll drive him away, but In all honesty, I didn't want him to leave.
The company was nice, I softly bit the corner of my lip. I noticed he began drawing a beautiful rough sketch. It looked like scribbles, but somehow made Into beauty. I don't know, I can't draw to save my life.
I glanced at him, his natural long deep wave curls. Soft freckles laced on his face. His muscles firm, he was... A natural beauty, my lips parted. Only to realize we had been holding eye contact the whole time.
My eyes searched all over the table Im embarrassed, "Sorry— I usually would have something to do- Or fiddle with while walking around." I paused searching for the right words, It didn't make sense of why I acted like this towards him.
I didn't like him? I didn't even know him.
He hummed looking up at me, "Maybe we should change the scenery, how about we grab a bite and head to the park?" He asked curiously. I felt myself shrink causing my shoulders to slightly bulk up.
"Sure—" I said with a pause, "Don't you have work though?" I asked looking around, this IS where he worked after all. "Aleria" He spoke.
His voice saying my name nearly caught me off guard, It's been a while since I've heard It from him. "This Is work." He said with a smug smile on his face holding up his notebook and pencil. My face burned, god Im an Idiot.
"Well then, let's get going." He said it with slight amusement in his tone.

The ride was quiet at first. Not awkward, but not exactly comfortable either. The hum of the engine and the faint sound of a song playing through the car's speakers filled the silence. I sat with my hands tucked between my legs, trying not to fidget. The city lights blurred past my window, casting fleeting golden streaks across my face.
