Silver woke up to a scream from the nursery. "Moon!" Silver whined: "What's going on here?" Moon padded over to her daughter and muttered under pressure, "Shadow gets her kits!" Silver was happy. Maybe I can help Fleck. Silver hurried to the nursery and looked inside. Suddenly Ivykit came to her and whispered: "We have to go...now" Silver was frightened and murmured: "That's not possible...not during the birth of Shadow's kit." Ivykit looked at her sullenly: "Either NOW or never" her broke off "Now come on" Silver followed Ivykit quietly but in her thoughts she was nervous. How will my parents react when they find out I'm gone? Who will help Fleck and will Ivy Young really know the way? Can you take me in? Her paws were shaking but when she noticed that the ivy kitten was slowing down, she was shocked. "My paws hurt!" she whined. Silver was reassured, well she's smart but still a kid. "Come here, I'll carry you," she meowed quietly. "Thanks Silver!" Ivykit meowed.

It was getting dark and Silver's paws hurt. In the meantime they were out of the two-legged area and Ivykit fell asleep. Time for me to hunt and take a break, she thought and saw a hole. I don't smell any foxes or badgers here. Only rabbits but those are old smells. Silver found some moss and put ivy kittens on it. "See you later, I'm going hunting," Silver meowed, she went out of the cave and went hunting. She spotted a rabbit. She crept up to the rabbit in the grass. He spotted them and ran away but too slowly because Silver jumped on him and killed him with one bite. This rabbit is fat enough to feed Ivykit and me. She thought. Silver saw several cats walking towards her But no strange cats. I know these cats! She recognized Moon, Lich, Leaf and Hawk. She ran to Ivykit. She carefully moved Ivykit and meowed: "Come on! We have to go!" Ivykit stood up immediately but she protested: "I'm hungry!" It was clear... she's smart and thinks like a full-grown cat... but in reality she's just a kitten looking for her parents. She thought, "OK, ivy kid, you can eat... but eat quickly!" Silver waited until Ivykit had finished eating, then she grabbed her and ran away from her in her mouth. Sorry Moon...sorry Light...but I have to do this. I will bring Ivykit home safely!

A few days passed until they arrived in Bergen. Silver asked: "Are these the mountains you saw in your dream? Is your family here?" Ivy kid shakes his head in disappointment: "No Silver, the mountains are much higher." She paused briefly: "We have to go through the mountains and at the end there are high mountains...!" Silver hissed in shock: "These mountains are already high! Are you mouse-brained? How are you going to survive this cold and how do you even know how high they are?!" Ivykit growled, "Just trust me and I'll feel it!" Well...I have no other choice, she thinks. But...can I trust a cub?! They're nothing important, just dreams. Maybe she's wrong and we could die. "Silver!" Meowed Ivykit: "Are you ready?" Silver nodded: "Yes..."
