Part 6

Luke's pov

"So what do you all want to do today? I have the day off work" I announced to the whole kitchen.
" lucky I have to work because my boss is a dick." Calum said pouting his bottom lip.
"We have to go visit Maya and Sky,so we need the car." Maya was Ashton's girlfriend and Sky was Michael's girlfriend, and yes surprisingly Michael does have a girlfriend.
All the boys exit the kitchen to get ready. Leaving me and Alex alone .

"So that leaves me and you, Alex" I turned to face her. I never noticed before but she was really pale, almost as if she where some sort of china doll.
"What do you want to do today?" I said

"I can't stay sorry." She said awkwardly.
"I um have to um feed my cat. Back at my apartment." I could tell that she was lying why does she not want to hang out. Does she not like me?

" I can come with you" I said almost determined to find out what plans she has other than hanging out with me. Does she not like me or something?

"You don't have to"

" I insist"

Alex's pov

Shit.Shit.Shit. I don't want Luke to see my shitty apartment. He'll think I'm dirty and disgusting. Fuck. Also to add to the matter I don't even have a cat, why would I even lie about that?

"Alex, earth calling Alex" Luke voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Sorry what?"

"We are leaving in an hour if that's alright so go get ready" said Luke

"K"

"Did you just 'k' me? " he said in a sarcastic upset tone

"Maybe" I say while walking out the kitchen door and then began to run down the corridor, I turn round and Luke is now running after me.

"No one say 'k' to me and gets away with it" he says in a put on sassy tone.

"K" I ran up the stairs as quickly as I could but Luke is now catching up with me quickly. Damn those long legs. I start to run down the corridor towards the room I stayed in last night, when all or a sudden I seem to be lying on the floor. The bitch tackled me. I look over to see him on the floor beside me. I burst out laughing. How did this even start because I said "k" Jesus this boy is weird.

"Find that funny do you? " he moves towards me and starts to tickle me like crazy, which makes me laugh louder. I'm super ticklish btw.

"Children these days" We look up to see Michael standing over us with his arms crossed.

"I was just um going to get ready" I stutters. My cheeks where now turning a deep shade of red. I got up quickly and ran to the room i stayed in.

Luke's pov

"Dude you embarrassed her" I said to Michael sort of angrily.

"She'll be okay, so are you going to tell me about what just happened, do you like her or something?"

Do I like Alex?

Alex's pov

I ran to the room and shut the door. I could feel my cheeks burning with embarrassment. I jumped onto the bed and buried my head into the pillows. I get embarrassed really easily as you can probably tell.

"Alex, can I come in" Luke said in a gently tone while softly knocking on the door.

"Yeah" Luke entered the room and stood there awkwardly for a second.

" I realised you didn't have any clothes with you so I brought you one of mine, it's the smallest size I have" he said while holding an Arctic Monkeys t-shirt in his hand.

"Thanks Luke"

"No problem, I'll let you get changed"
He shut the door behind him.

I slipped on the t-shirt it was massive on me so I tucked it into my jeans. I examined myself in the mirror. I had no makeup on and felt kind of self conscious. I made my way back downstairs to see Luke waiting for me.

"Aww you look adorable" said Luke instantly blushing at what he said.

"Thanks, where are the boys?"

"They left like ten minutes ago, they took the car so is it okay if we walk"

" yeah sure, I live like 15 minutes away"

We left the house and started to walk. I never realised how blue his eyes where until now. We where talking like we known each other all our lives until we approached the bridge. Silence fell upon us and memories from last night started to play in my mind. I wanted to cross the bridge as quickly as I could.
I started to quicken my pace. I'm so ashamed he saw me like that. I have never showed anyone how I feel. I was so weak and pathetic.

"Hey Alex stop,it's okay you don't have to be ashamed of last night" Luke said trying to calm me. He grabbed my hand and tried to stop me shaking. My eyes began to water and I desperately tried to blink my tear away but before I knew it I was full on crying.

" hey, hey it's okay don't cry" Luke whispered. He lifted his hand to my face and started to wipe the tears gently off my face. He lifted my chin up and I stared into his perfect blue eyes while he stared back into mine. Our faces where inches apart. My heart started to race. He slowly started to lean in. My heart beating faster and faster each second I feared it would burst out chest. Our faces where only a couple of millimetres apart.

"Luke is that you?" A voice said from behind us. He instantly jumped away from me and my heart began to sink. Maybe he didn't like me after all.
