Y/n's (your) POV

'BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP BEE-"

"UGH!" I groaned angrily, throwing the alarm clock at the wall. Finally it shut up, I left my head fall on my pillow. Just one more day of work before the weekends, thank fucking god.

'Painfully', I rolled out of bed as I made it to bathroom. I looked at my messy hair and the bags under my eyes, I looked like shit-

I quickly took a shower, brushing my teeth and hair before dressing into my work uniform (whatever fucking job you want). I popped my shoes on, grabbing my bag and coat.

I stepped out of my house, locking it behind before I faced the snow covered grass. I shivered, hugging myself 'it's colder than winter's tits out here!'

I ran to my car, shutting the door and quickly turned on the car.  "Thank god for heaters..." I grumbled before I began to drive to work.

3'd POV (timeskip cuz I can)

Swan sighed, taking a puffed of his cigarette and watching the purple smoke follow the wind blowing past him.

He leans against the wall, his body tense and tired. After a long day and brutal fight with his brother, when a moment to himself, he still reminds tense.

He glanced at the red string tied to his middle finger, evidence of a soulmate he yet not found. He's tried to follow it but it seemed the string was playing games with him.

No matter how much he ran it seemed like it was playing mind games with him. It simply seemed like the damn system was trying to tell him that he didn't even had a soulmate.

It would make sense for him not to have one, no one has liked him. Everyone hated him, and he was aware of that fact.
All his life was trying to survive, being hated, and trying to stop his lunatic of a brother. Why would that stop now?

Suddenly he felt a strange force on his hand, he heard a high pitched yelp along with a thud. He looked down at a woman on the ground, noting get (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes, wearing a usual winter outfit on.

"What the fuck..." she said tiredly, standing up and dusting herself off. "Are you okay, miss...? You took quite a fall" Swan said, flicking his cigarette.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just uh, testing gravity..." she said awkwardly, not wanting to admit she tripped over her own feet.

"Uh-huh..." Swan nodded, unsure what to do. He turned around, putting out his cigarette. "Well, uh... be careful next time."
He went to take a step but felt a tug on his finger.

He looked down at his hand, noticing the red string had gotten smaller, a lot smaller. His purple eyelights followed the string, seeing it was tied to a (s/c) (skin color) hand.

Swan looked up at her face, seeing the same shock that was similar to his. "Oh my god..."

"Y-you're my..." Swan paused as he stared at the woman in front of him. "And you're my soulmate..."

He watched as a smile formed on her face as suddenly without a warning, a pair of arms wrapped around him. "I never thought I'd meet my soulmate!" She squeaked out.

"I... me too." Swan managed to speak, he mostly was just too shocked to say much. Hesitantly, he wrapped his own arms around the woman.
