―If you do something wrong, I'll kill you first, Unnie. Because you're the most annoying.

“… … !”

―That's not an empty promise.

Her eyes were darkened by fear. The moment she fell off the cliff, the kidnapper's voice echoed in her mind.
She waved her arms, but she couldn't catch anything. It all happened too fast.

It was a good thing.

“……!”

A huge shock hit her back like a bomb. Her body, which had hit the tree branch once, fell down again.

Heeju instinctively stretched out her arm and desperately grabbed something, but her palm slid off.

“Eeeeeee…!”

She hit her head on the rough rock and was sucked into a hole.

She fell to the ground, and a tingling pain spread throughout her body.

“Ha, ugh…!” Beyond the confusion, a loud scream echoed from somewhere.

It didn’t matter whether it was a hallucination or not.

‘I’m here…’

She gritted her teeth and reached out.

But her vision was completely dark.

“Ugh… ….”

A cold air seeped into her whole body.

The first thing she moved was her fingers, which touched the rough rock.

As her sense of touch returned, other sensations came rushing back.

The cold wind cut through her torn clothes like a knife. Her eyes were blurry and her head was hot.

Some parts were swollen, stinging, and bleeding.

Her body was covered with bruises, and she broke out in cold sweat at the slightest movement.

When she opened her eyes again, night had fallen.

‘How long did I lose consciousness?’

She could see the pitch-black night sky beyond the leaves.

‘Where am I?’

She fell through the trees that had grown on the cliff and into a hole.

But judging from the fact that it hadn't been reconstructed yet, it seemed like they were having trouble determining its location.

“Huh… ….”

It wasn't anyone's fault, but I felt needlessly sad.

―Woooooooo…

A wild beast's sound was heard from afar.

Besides that, the night mountain came back amplified even the smallest sound.

Then even the pitch-black darkness began to feel threatening.

‘I’m scared…  I want to go home….’

She couldn’t just keep lying around like this.

But her legs, which were shivering, felt like they were paralyzed.

‘Let’s slowly raise my upper body first.’

She groaned and took off the backpack she was carrying.

‘Cell phone… … Let me tell you my location first with my cell phone…!’

Heeju searched through her bag to find her cell phone.
