▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 opened her eyes and groaned, moving around slightly in her bed. Her eyes then darted to the floor, seeing Justyn laid out on the carpet.
She looked over at the door and saw it was locked, making her sigh in relief. She removed the blanket off of her body and got out of bed.
She walked towards Justyn and leaned down, "Justyn," She whispered, tapping his arm.
He ain't budge so she tapped him again, "Wake up," She said and he groaned, opening his eyes.
"Hm, get in the bed. You look cold," She added on, placing her hand on his arm.
Justyn blinked groggily, his body stiff as he slowly sat up. He rubbed his face with one hand, his hair sticking up in all directions. "What time is it?" he mumbled, his voice low and raspy from sleep.
"I don't know," Chance replied softly, glancing at the clock on her nightstand. "Like...three in the morning? Maybe later. But seriously, you're shivering. Get in the bed before you freeze."
Justyn raised an eyebrow at her, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. "You're serious?"
"Yeah, I'm serious," she shot back, folding her arms across her chest. "The carpet doesn't exactly scream cozy, and I'd rather not wake up to you turning into an icicle on my floor."
He hesitated, glancing from the bed to her and back again. "Alright, but—uh—boundary rules?"
Chance rolled her eyes, her lips twitching into a small smile. "Relax, it's just sleeping. We'll stick to our own sides, deal?"
Justyn got up and groaned softly as he sank into the mattress, pulling the blanket over himself. "Deal," He said.
The bed was warmer than the carpet had been, but he still kept his distance, lying stiffly on his back.
Chance turned to face him, resting her head on her hand. She lowered her voice to a whisper, her tone teasing but quiet. "You look like you just busted a nut." She joked.
Justyn smirked faintly, turning his head to glance at her. "Well, I am sneaking into your bed. Not exactly a regular thing for me."
"Relax," she whispered back, rolling her eyes. "It's just me."
"That's the thing," he murmured, his voice barely audible. "It's you."
